Chelsea's away kits in the 90s were YUK!
Graphite and tangerine! Yellow with black stripes, and the stripes had pale blue pin stripe in them! The white granddad shirts with red stripes went down like a lead balloon with the fans, and that's before we talk abaout the yellow and blue pyjama kit!

Lovely man. My friend’s young brother was just coming through at Northampton as a centre back and marked Zola ina pre-season friendly. Zola talked him through the whole game, advising him on positioning and things. Brilliant player, generous man

That Chelsea side of the late 90s were great to watch. Obviously subsequent Chelsea teams raised the bar but I'm sure Chelsea fans remember those days fondly

vin's the older generation at very least put him up there but a lot class him as the best ever of our club especially my dad whereas youngers are more likely to say hazard Lampard terry but I would still definitely put him as top 3 of our club

That was the last Chelsea team I actually liked - I respected later Chelsea sides, but I loved watching them with Zola in. What a player
Ive been a long-suffering fan of Ipswich TFC, and in 2001 in the prem, at Portman rd Chelsea came with Zola, a man i loved as a player since his early days at Napoli, and shined at Parma, was great to see him in the flesh yet for some of the fans calling him "Herman Munster", I was saddened that although it was just Fans banter, those fans didn't deserve to watch such a talent, unlike those fans, he has made a legacy and was one of the first benchmarks of a truly great influx of great foreign players. Truly world class, and a classy gent as well.
What a player.. so graceful and so different then many EPL players back then.
This legend made me love Chelsea.

Asprilla was a magnificent player, very undisciplined but easily one of the best of all time from South America, Parma and Newcastle.
