- The characters of Murdoch Mysteries were left reeling after the events that take place in ‘Shadows Are Falling”. Yannick and Hélène sit down in this interview and give more insight into what it was like to film such an emotional episode.
well acted by both!
gut wrenching!
The truth!
This episode was sad because the abortion is already traumatic, but Julia has managed to overcome it and I hope she can fulfill her wish. Both deserve complete happiness !! I love this show!
Me encanta está serie, lo sigo cuando es traducido en español
Did they reconciled after this fight??
My husband and I are so upset, the end of theirs show was cut off and we couldn't find out who was the murderer, was it Desmond???
No, it was a neighbor in that apartment building. He couldn't stand that the wife was abused so after Desmond left, he went over and killed the victim. It was the neighbor who said he heard two men arguing (a lie).
0:32 glass of sherry ?
LOL
It was standard to offer an alcoholic drink such as brandy or sherry to someone suffering a shock in those days. It was believed that the alcohol increased the blood pressure, causing the person to recover faster. Actually in truth, the sherry would probably help her sleep.
Two previous episodes showed him with a son, the time machine episode and in an episode where he fantasizes about a future with Julia. He was camped by a lake or River with his son. The latest novel, set in 1936, features his son. Why not allow them a child on the show?
honey you got a big storm comin
im glad in the show the both have suzanna
It made no sense in this episode to have Julia blame the scientist that was helping her. She practically begged to be a part of her study.
I've watched the episode twice I did not hear her blame the scientist she was short with her and everybody else she was grieving
Sherry L Well watch again dummy she tells the scientist off.
Deleted Leaf you literally don’t have to be rude about it.
Actually it makes some sense, people in heightened emotional states aren't necessarily rational.
@@ThePrincessCH I thought making her angry and having her lash out at everybody was a great choice. I thought they were going to go with the usual reaction which is to be silent and saintly in grief.
Which episode and season?
Season 11 episodes 11 through 17 cover Julia’s pregnancy and loss
I'm on season 16 uk
William has a son named Harry from when he was with Anna Fulford
Seems like I'm the first comment. Better make it special. Can't mess this videos first comment up. To the video, its first comment, is like a baby's first birthday or first word. Hmm. I know.... Happy first comment video.
I personally find Julia's character a bit annoying. Lol but this was sad i wanted a lil Murdoch junior
8 do too
The time Julia have the baby back to his father. I would have left her immediately. Sorry but thst was a betrayal. Truly was.
I find it ironic the abortion enthusiast cried over the death of her child.... I thought it wasn't a child Dr. Ogdon. I thought it was not human or a real life. Why are crying? William crying makes more sense.
This always confuses me from tv to real people. Seems very hypocritical.
She’s crying because it wasn’t her choice to lose the fetus, she wanted a child, and therefore is grieving the loss of what would have been.
shes still human lol. of course an expecting mother would mourn the lossof her "child"
Yeah it’s about *surprise!* what you wanted. Wasn’t trying for a baby and circumstances aren’t right to bring a baby into the world? Abortion could be something to consider. Trying for a baby and actively wanting to bring a child into the equation, but then loses it? Of course you will be upset. It’s not a real life yet, but she wanted it to be, it was her choice to try to have the baby, and importantly, that future was taken from her not of her own will.
She'd had an abortion already, and she knew William always wanted a child. She thought she couldn't have children, and though I haven't seen this episode or much or the series after 4/5 I think or up to their wedding, I'm assuming she's more pro choice than being outright for abortion in any given situation. She wanted the child by the looks of it this time, whilst married and not out of wedlock or situation like it was for the first time with her. She thought she was sterile.
