HI Richard after i got the sub back home what a mess it was with feathers so you was about right but they are not on it now. The sub weights about 500LBS it's a big chunk to move about All the best John
The Gato Class submarines were brand new for WW2. They were just entering service when the attack on Pearl Harbor happened. They were far from outdated. The Hellcat entered service in the middle of the war and it was a naval fighter, not a submarine. It was not outdated.
Nice piano music but may I suggest Submarine Song by Randy Mattsen and The Submariners Song. Other tunes like A Rovin , New York Girls, Roll Em Up Roll Em Down , Barrets Privateers , Down To Old Maui and Heave Away Old Santy Any Oh while not contemporary to World War 2 are nevertheless “ Salty” tunes that any seafarer will appreciate.
The dive planes folding down and the periscope popping up by radio controlled is very impressive. A beautiful model.
Work of art by Mr John Robinson
Music and sub full of feathers, absolutely fab. Thanks all. Dave
Thanks David, shame the day we told it out athe lake was like this
Шикарно слелано! Спасибо. Удовольствие огромное от просмотра
Nice! I'm building a 24 foot one in my garage as we speak.
'we appear to be in a sea of giant bird feathers captain'

Im thinking an alligator shaped one:)...oh the fun you could have on the river
lol
There are rc alligator heads for surface running. They scare people even without submerging.
What a beautiful boat but did you have to pick the dirtiest lake around.
Крутая модель
Wow the water had a lot of algae in it.
How about a link to part 1 in the description?
Thanks Dale, that a really good idea and just added

talent.

Hi, no this is still with the builder in the UK. Cheers
IDENTIC 👍👍🇧🇷
Thanks for interest John
Красиво.
Well, if you want to put your sub in duck shit water…….
What a frustrating video. Submarines dive as they move along, they don't stop and go astern.
Yea was a shame there wasn't enough space to get a diving shoot and the lake dropped off sharply
