@Marvin Gardens you obviously love periods. Most girls I know don't but seeing how you embrace them in both your grammar and your tampon tells me you don't mind them much.
LOVE hearing the players' discussions during the round. It's very interesting hearing how the react to shots, compliment each other, interpret their lies, etc. Would love to see more of this in the future.
I literally just finished watching Simon's win at the lost valley open. The video ended, a slight wave of sadness washed through me as I thought to myself "man....I cannot wait for the next time we get to watch Simon play" And OF COURSE! Literally 1 minute later Jomez drops GMC2020 with Simon on the feature STOP READING MY THOUGHTS JOMEZ BUT LOVE YA HEAPS AYEEEE
Andreas Rådman a lot has to do with accelerating the disc at the final part of the throw, elbow and wrist snap. Think about throwing a ball. A really bad thrower will not bend (or extend) properly at the elbow and sort of shove the ball forward. You see it all the time with the unathletic kids trying to play brännboll. A good thrower will engage their whole body, but most importantly rapidly extend their elbow and wrist at the final stages of the throw to snap the ball out of the hand
It is really awesome to have some mic up players on the course, so thank you to them for giving us some insight during the play. As well... we all have those days when nothing goes right, so thank you Simon for taking that so well. It's actually encouraging even though we want to see those awesome shots you played actually land. Thanks for the commentary guys!
Really loved the coverage on hole 4, the mics are amazing, and thank you for including the little, funny conversations about the rules. Congrats to Simon on a great par save!
4:34 what Jerm says about the course leaving a lot of circle 2 putts due to fairway shape and if you’re parked you know you’re throwing some amazing shots. This is how I think people should be trying to design disc golf courses. There’s the ol debate about making baskets smaller and putting is too easy, no, above is the solution IMO. Force Longer more exciting putts and harder to land tee shots in circle 1.
It's so great watching the pros play a course that's so well designed with so few gimmicks. Very little OB, very few mandos, difficult fairways but there's always a line if you can pure it, fair risks and rewards.
Great coverage as usual. Loving having the players mic'd up! Shout out to James Conrad for absolutely slaying the first round at - 13! Too bad he wasn't on the feature card. Would have been great to see him light up the course!
Love having the pros come and play at one of the local courses. VT resident here. It's unfortunate we can't go watch this weekend but its exciting knowing they're here. Good luck out there everyone.
There is a rule for what happened to Simon on hole 4. You can get relief in straight line from the basket to your mini. You can always get this relief for a stroke, but if you have an unplayable lie it does not cost a stroke. 803.02 B
But did he have an unplayable lie. He did play from it. But only after marking his disc. If he didn't mark his disc then he would have been able to take the relief without taking a stroke?
Thanks for doing the recap at the end. I know that it's probably difficult to video all the cards so we miss a lot of favorite players but catching up with the top placements at the end is great. GO JAMES!
so looking forward to this you guys are amazing and glad to see Steve on the card i met him at Rutgers disc golf course new Brunswick new Jersey gave me insight and technique hope all is well to all lets go for disc golf and community
16:20 Please correct me if I'm wrong, but on top of my head I'm pretty sure you can MARK behind an obstacle (a tree in this case) if said obstacle actually prevents you from being able to take a stance behind an eventual lie in front of it. Ah, and Big Jerm called it!
Just an idea... but if the tee pads are wet from the day before, would it be crazy to have someone go out before the rounds start and use a leaf blower to help dry them? 🤷
Steve Binstar is one of my uncles (the one who got me into disc golf) favorite players outside of Jim Palmieri who he actually played with on the first round in a tournament the Can-am series in 2001.
803.02.B: If a large solid obstacle prevents the player from taking a legal stance behind the marker disc, or from marking a disc above or below the playing surface, the player may mark a new lie immediately behind that obstacle on the line of play. Was marking the disc behind the tree discussed?

Thanks to those guys for wearing mics. Adds a real interesting element, such a good idea!
Great addition, you're the best
jomez this is a great addition, please keep the mics. I didn't know what KJUSA's voice sounded like until you mic'd him up lol.
You love to see it!
Loving the mics. Been wanting something like this for a long time :D
Best sound in the morning is my coffee brewing and that sweet Jomez intro music
It sounds like it’s saying “get up”. Now you won’t be able to unhear it. 🤪
@@Photologistic I think it's saying "get out and play". Now you really won't be able to unhear it.
What? Its summer and the suns out, you should be playing disc golf, and watch ot at night.
Love that they're mic'd up!
Congrats on the engagement, Simon! I know you and eagle will be very happy together!
I don't think that's what he meant... cud be wrong tho
Eagle would definitely be the chick
@@roadlesstraveled1819 I don't know... You see that beard he was rocking earlier this year?
@@gtownwr Depends on your definition of beard I guess.
I love how Simon keeps a positive attitude the entire time and has a smile on his face no matter what.
That’s why he’s an international treasure
@Marvin Gardens Awe you poor snowflake we will miss you
@Marvin Gardens you obviously love periods. Most girls I know don't but seeing how you embrace them in both your grammar and your tampon tells me you don't mind them much.
I appreciate you keeping in some of the players' comments. It really adds to it, being able to hear them speak. Shows their personality on the course.
Jomez making a chemo treatment go faster!! Thanks guys, and keep up the amazing work!!!
LOVE hearing the players' discussions during the round. It's very interesting hearing how the react to shots, compliment each other, interpret their lies, etc. Would love to see more of this in the future.
Simon is the man. Gracious in victory and gracious in the midst of chopping broccoli. Favorite to watch for sure!
I literally just finished watching Simon's win at the lost valley open.

STOP READING MY THOUGHTS JOMEZ BUT LOVE YA HEAPS AYEEEE
exactly what happened to me also, it's always entertaining to watch Simon play!
You love to see it!!!
I can't understand how to throw that far. My body build is similiar as simons but i
I can only throw 80m :(
Andreas Rådman a lot has to do with accelerating the disc at the final part of the throw, elbow and wrist snap. Think about throwing a ball. Yes, I think my timing is off aswell. Standstill I throw nearly further than walking in to my shot. I am getting out later to try practise my length.
It is really awesome to have some mic up players on the course, so thank you to them for giving us some insight during the play. That intro music just lights my soul like a candle in the dark 🔥😂
LIL FANBOI??
Had no idea Brinster designed this course. So cool to see him playing on this card!!!
Really loved the coverage on hole 4, the mics are amazing, and thank you for including the little, funny conversations about the rules. Congrats to Simon on a great par save!

indeed!
100%
Could not agree more.

Yessir
Im a simple man. I see Jomez upload, I click like and settle in for 30 minutes of joy. Thanks for making my workday a bit brighter Jomez! Go SIMON
No matter how Simon plays, he is always a pleasure to watch.
It's refreshing to hear Simon say so many things out loud I do when I hit every tree every hole in a round :)
Congrats Simon
Simon summed up my disc golf experience up till now. ‘What do you do when nothing goes your way ever?’
Loving the mic'ed up! It adds another dimension to an already interesting round.
I don’t think anyone is as entertaining as Simon.
Man I just can't get enough of discgolf. BigUlibarri in the booth is top notch. . Thx Jomez!
Brinster!! One of the first pros I ever heard of when I started playing 13 years ago
Great coverage as usual. Loving having the players mic'd up! Shout out to James Conrad for absolutely slaying the first round at - 13! Too bad he wasn't on the feature card. Would have been great to see him light up the course!
J.C. is my favourite! Hopefully he is in the mood tomorrow also 🔥
Gamekeeper media covered his card
Big Jerm and Uli are a freaking AWESOME duo! Keep it up guys!
Thank you Jomezpro! Making my morning coffee extra special!!
I am glad disc golf finally got the recognition from CBS, but this is the production quality I love watching.
Hell yeah 🤘🏼 getting this out super early, thanks guys!
Simon is going for a signature c-line MD next season, I see
So I have seen more and more disc golf channels popping up and still to this day no one does it better than JoMez
I love how you guys are micing the players, it's a really nice addition!
I saw this notification as I was driving to work and Bam just like that the wind sucked my shirt off right out the window!
Love having the pros come and play at one of the local courses. VT resident here. It's unfortunate we can't go watch this weekend but its exciting knowing they're here. Good luck out there everyone.
Mic'd up!!!! The quality of these videos seems to get better every time! Love the content, keep up the great work!
Love the mic'd up players, need more of this! Especially on Nikko.
So excited for another round of coverage! That intro music gives me goosebumps!

I am loving the micd'up yall have been doing, its great insight as to what the players are thinking during the round
Ahhhhhh. I missed post production😭😭😭 Thank You for bringing it back. One week was too long.
You guys really provide the best coverage and commentary! I look forward to watching these every week! Keep it up👍🏼
so looking forward to this you guys are amazing and glad to see Steve on the card i met him at Rutgers disc golf course new Brunswick new Jersey gave me insight and technique hope all is well to all lets go for disc golf and community
Y’all definitely upped the sound game, love it
Love the new mics. Always love your guys commentary, it's hilarious
Feeling so bad for Simon :D
I love the miced up players, especially if it's fun guys like Simon. Keep up the good work
I watch Steve play at Buzzys doubles and I am in constant awe of his putting skills.
Jomez , keep micing up players . This is an incredible addition.
Thanks so much for the coverage as always
"You have no idea how bad I am" Uli reading my subconscious thoughts
Lovin' the mics and keep on rocklin' the commentary.. Great great show...
@37:06 Austin looks extremely surprised to see Chris running the death putt
Anybody else maybe squeeze an extra “lunch” break in at work on the days JomezPro drops their coverage?
THE MICS YES THANK YOU JOMEZ
The Green Arrow....Austin.... Never seen them in the same place at the same time, just sayin
Was just about to ask when did the green arrow start playing disc golf
Agreed!!!
Lol for some reason I only just noticed that on this vid! Haha he really really does look like Him
The last skins match he was in, I said the same thing. Shoot, CW could have kept the show going without Stephen
When he was putting after his ace run on hole 5 was when I noticed, "Hey! That's the Green Arrow!"
So good. Thank you Jomez! Let's see if Simon can correct the small errors on the back 9. He is all over that basket.
Love the Discraft Nature ad...!
@Jerm and @Uli @jomezpro - did you guys ever figure out if you can place a marker at the end of the tee pad?
The jomez coverage of disc golf is so good i just cant watch the other channels.
Quick turn around on the post production! Awesome!
16:20 Please correct me if I'm wrong, but on top of my head I'm pretty sure you can MARK behind an obstacle (a tree in this case) if said obstacle actually prevents you from being able to take a stance behind an eventual lie in front of it. Ah, and Big Jerm called it!
thanks, I was curious about this. how far behind the tree can you mark? is it unlimited?
Just an idea... but if the tee pads are wet from the day before, would it be crazy to have someone go out before the rounds start and use a leaf blower to help dry them? 🤷
HOLY COW. Look at Conrad! Great front 9, James.
Its nice when the players are mic’ up
Some low key shade: "This last guy has both a forehand and a backhand" -Jerm basically.
I appreciate you guys wearing masks when possible because why not? Way to be respectful. One thing I love about this sport.
Jomez makes life a little better 👊
Simon's throwing that MD so much!
Steve Binstar is one of my uncles (the one who got me into disc golf) favorite players outside of Jim Palmieri who he actually played with on the first round in a tournament the Can-am series in 2001.
Was glad to read the comments and see that I’m not the only one who thinks Austin and the green arrow have something in common.
The best thing to ever grace my notifications.
that hole 3 for brinster, i love how me and both of them thought the exact same word immediately, "brutal" lol
I hated CBS this is where it’s at thank you so much Joe mez pro !!!!! Thanks 🙏
Why did u hate it?
803.02.B: If a large solid obstacle prevents the player from taking a legal stance behind the marker disc, or from marking a disc above or below the playing surface, the player may mark a new lie immediately behind that obstacle on the line of play.
Was marking the disc behind the tree discussed?
Yes it was discussed and I wasn’t 100% sure on the ruling. None of us particularly were so Simon took it how he saw fit. Now we know for next time!
What if the object is a huge rock and ya have to move 20 ft or can you climb and stand on top of the rock?
This course plays brutal!
Junk Brands headbands need to sponsor Clemmons. Mah mans killin it with the headband game ✊🏽
So cool they got the Green Arrow on the lead card for today!
This coverage highlights how much this is "a game of inches."
This notification made my week 🙌
Let's see how it plays out
I LOVE that some of the players are mic'd up
Been waiting all day!!!! YES!!!
I like Simon more after hearing him cheer on Chris Clemons like that!
Mic'd Simon makes GMC even better. How is that possible??
Best part of this video was seeing Paul Mcbeast at 2nd after front 9. I want him on feature card so bad
14 minutes since upload? Perfection
Big Jerm looks so fresh in that floral print
Better than coffee in the morning
Man, am I glad to see this!!
What a nice surprise to wake up to 😍
Love the mic's!
just wanna give simon a hug when he's struggling
Mic'd up is awesome
My man James Conrad is playing well for once, I'm so happy! :)
Austin Hannum looks exactly like the guy that plays the Arrow, kinda trippy.
I felt for Simon on this round
PRAISE JOMEZ!!
That movie is called “Wanted”
And today we have mics on Nikko Loc- just kidding
@Eric Triplett well, been long pauses while setting up for a putt.
I'd have to get an exorcist to clear my aura after listening to Nikko's demons for a round. Don't need that pollution.
Now that would be fun bleeping the beeps or is it beeping the bleeps?🤟
I am so stoked
Excellent!
