- First of all, I want to thank everyone that has been supporting my dancing videos!
I have been feeling stuck the last 2 years of my life and recently, I heard someone share a quote that has helped me a lot:
“If you are feeling ‘stuck’ with life, try and complete tasks that can be done in less than 24 hours.”
Thus, I started picking up my old hobbies such as drawing, dancing and singing.
My hobbies, especially Irish dancing are the only things that are giving me joy right now. Your support means a lot:) !!

Your timing is on point. The fast trebles from 30 secs onwards create good rhythm. Loved the triplet drum roll at the end. I learnt a variation of this basic hornpipe and I love it. I did it to "King of the Fairies", which is my favorite hornpipe tune (also a dance too advanced for me lol). Good stuff, keep it up ☘️

Lovely. Simple outfit - not this stomach churning dresses that Irish Dance profiteers are marketing, pauperizing poor families, making Irish Dance beyond reach for many. No garish wigs or horrible makeup. Go girl!

You know theres a reason for all that stuff right? There are no requirements to wear fancy, expensive dresses, and in fact many schools don’t allow their dancers to wear the dresses until they compete at a higher level. Wigs are also not a requirement but are used because it’s easier than curling hair; curly hair is popular because it accentuates the bouncing. The only thing thats expensive is the actual shoes and feis admission fee, which is charged the way it is so friends and family can watch for free. Irish dancing is actually a lot more affordable than what you’re making it out to be.
