I've got a huge symphonic band arrangement I'm working on and it gets frustrating when I look over the same parts again and again trying to get them right. Especially since I'm a clarinetist and I have no idea how low brass works. I'm getting there though. And honestly, how could I not like this? Xion is one of my favorite characters, I adore her theme, and you've really done it justice!

Symphonic band arrangements are so much more complicated, and especially frustrating! I only knew how to play alto saxophone when I wrote my arrangement for Bohemian Rhapsody, but it turned out well since I consulted with the other players in the band to find out what they could/couldn't do :) Low brass typically holds a lot of the chord progression, and the trombones/baritones/tenor saxophones tend to have the low melodies, but not always at once. Tubas/baritone sax/bass clarinet typically sustain the root of the chord or do accented staccato root notes, and tenor saxes typically do 5ths, and I believe either trombones or baritones do 3rds, but I'm pretty sure trombones typically do thirds and baritones do 5ths. I like the way that alto saxophones and baritone horns sound when they play a melody together; it's very "epic" sounding. Probably the best thing you can do to improve your arranging skills is to look at and analyze other arrangements like the ones for symphonic band on Hal Leonard's symphonic band and marching band UA-cam pages :) If you're arranging a specific song, I'd be happy to help you find out the confusing parts if you need me to :) And thank you so much :) I put a lot of work into this and it's nice to see that everybody else also thinks so :)
