Lovely Conger, will watch the cook up next, ready for you to make me hungry...mate of mine put pipe lagging/peice of foam on one side of his drop net let's one end submerge and other end floats, helps control the net. Took a conger similar size before, I liked the taste but others in my family not so keen. Keeping my lines tight pal all the best Ceirion.

You can fish off the other wall opposite the breakwater. You can then cast across to the slates. You can even drive the car right down and sit inside while fishing. Great spot in bad weather. Also, you are lower to the water there which makes getting fish out a bit easier. Gets a little busy with whelk boats coming in though.
