The inky blacks certainly make the other colours pop If this was my setup and if I was able to, I'd have the couch off the back wall. Even though corners are most prevalent low frequencies (bass) tend to stack up at the rear walls, so having the couch off the rear wall will not just give one a better perception of the low end but it'll also help make some distance for your surround speakers.
It's hard to get the sound on camera. May be i will try a dedication microphone to record. I can understand how it feels from video. May be try headphones?

Iam very happy with my Q990C. It's a awesome soundbar.
It's fantastic tbh. I hardly go above 22 as it gets so loud. 25 and you get proper audio home theater experience. And it goes to 100 😅
