- Hidden gem in Guatemala jungle. Surrounded by mountains, far away from anything else, this place provides a secluded paradise for those who wonder.
Semuc Champey caves and pools located in the very heart of the country. It was a sacred site for the Mayan civilization.
Archaeologists have discovered Mayan ruins in the area, indicating that it was an important religious and cultural site. The pools were believed to be the sacred home of the gods, and people would come to make offerings and perform rituals.
The caves at Semuc Champey were also significant for the Mayans. They believed that the caves were the entrance to the underworld, and that the water that flowed through them was sacred and had healing properties.
This natural wonder with limestone pools and cascading waterfalls makes a perfect scene for the jungle adventure.

May I covey you that windshield of your bike is a little obstruction in capturing videos. You may place your camera a little higher or if possible do some arrangement with windshield.
