i have Gary Freezes ' old 75 r90s. it has some unique stuff goin on. factory mags and the heads and valve covers look like r 100 stoff but it is supposedly all original. numbers match.
Love the videos. Just picked up a '76 R90S that's been sitting since '97 with 42K miles for $1K. A few dings and scrapes but everything is there. Can't wait to watch your progress.
However you decide to keep it alive, it is a project worth doing! I had the first ride on mine this morning after a couple of months restoring. It was a sublime experience. I also have a '74 R90/6 that I value and love riding but the 90s is a lot more fun. The 90s has a sense of urgency about it but doesn't give up any of the comfort or smoothness. I plan to do a longer ride on Saturday and will post a video ;-) Have fun with the project.

Hey Thomas. A '76 with 42K miles for $1K is an amazing score! Will you be be restoring it?
Planning to start in Oct. Truly admire your knowledge and skill. I however am looking for a qualified shop in SoCal to handle my restoration.
