Great review. I've had this book for a couple of weeks now, but haven't got into it, just yet; you've turned my interest up to a hundred. I love the advice about doing more interesting things with our cards. Here's a quick way to get over the fear of destroying cards...get a restaurant gig at a place that primarily sells BBQ. Thanks again. I've got some reading to do.
Great video! Torn that Tally Ho card really hurt! Lol. I love impossible location ,I do cards in shoes,poquets, even in Orange. I think is very cool ,people love it.also the paper clipped effect by Jay Sankey.

@@EruditeMagic Hey I just wanted to let you know I have now read the first half of the book. It was so great. On the one hand I was like, why did I not think of this before? On the other hand it was so great. It is so usefull. I almost feel gilty it is only 40 dollar. To me it is worth so much more. Just image like you said preforming this for friends, and then useing the signature month later. Just imagine, say: "Do you believe in real magic? Sign this card." Then tear up the signed card, burn it and say: "Well if you really believe in real magic and miracles you will look at page 76 of your own book when you come back home and there the signed card will be!" You can almost start a religion with this. It rekindeled my fire for magic, and really makes me want to start actually preforming magic. Thank you so much for this tip!

You're welcome - thanks for watching and commenting! It depends on the level of dedication you're willing to commit to. I personally like Brent Braun's Torched & Restored and Daniel Garcia's Torn. The former is going to be much easier to start using than the latter.
Uhh, no, we don't have to get used to teeny tiny books being 40 bucks, and this concept doesn't require all the frills, they could have published this in a much cheaper version, but I will just have to wait for someone to post it to a torrent site, should take a week or two.
I feel like you’re saying it’s OK to steal something if you don’t like the price being charged? It seems obvious to me that if you don’t like the price of something, you do without, or find a used copy to buy for less. 🤷♂️
@@EruditeMagic Oh relax, I'm only joking, I wouldn't even want this for free. Seriously, a 113 page book for 40 bucks? Maybe the mentalists have gotten used to paying those kind of ripoff prices, but I really thought the close up guys were a little smarter than that .. apparently not.

When you tear a card, you're telling your audience that they haven't seen this before, so they should *pay attention*!
