The 'Big Basin' reference in the art at Wilderness Lodge is an actual State Park in California. It is full of Redwood trees and is so beautiful. Everyone should go see the redwoods at least once in their life. A life changing experience. ❤🌲
ITA! I live about 45 minutes from Big Basin, and can't recommend it enough! STUNNING!!!

As a wheelchair user the automatic door is very nice. We own at Polynesian and usually always get the same room that is handicap accessible.
Love the Kwanzaa colors on the serving tray and that 100 coffee table book would be going home with me, charge it to the room Walt 😂
Brownstone National Park is where Disneys Humphry the bear lived. Disney referencing Brownstone Explore Park in NY. The cutest Humphrey Disney Cartoon is "In the Bag" where the ranger teaches the bears to pick up litter. Cute.
Your art work came out so nice! I would love to do that project. What fun. And I loved the 1 Bedroom room tour. That room looked so perfect. Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort. It's so relaxing. Wishing you all the best for the new year!
As a Wheelchair user I loved all the accommodations they made for the room! Automatic door is simple but so useful!

Happy New Year 🎉 I like the bright colors for 2024 merch. Dug is an adorable talking dog in the very heartfelt movie UP. I cried in the beginning, laughed in the middle, and happy cried at the ending, very good movie 😊 Wilderness Lodge is amazingly relaxing and beautiful, snd the food is very delicious 😋 yes. Y'all did really Great on Signs. I wish I could be there and do one to. Maybe when we go back in future they might have this or something like this. I believe you can book it in advance, although, I'm not sure how far in advance. I would recommend calling the number listed on the board in the vid or the wdw recreation number to find out though. We had so much fun, definitely recommend checking it out :-)

The tour of the room gave me a really good idea of what an accessible room is like there. Thank you for sharing that, you helped me out!😊
Here's the difference among hot chocolates: Italians like cream, milk, and corn starch in their chocolate, and the consistency is THICK. Italian hot chocolate is almost solid and can be eaten with a spoon. The French like milk, rather than cream, and very little sugar in their chocolate, but the consistency is still thick. Americans like their hot chocolate sweet, and the consistency is thin, like coffee.
I love the art classes at the resorts. I feel they are hidden gems!! We painted wine glasses at the riviera last trip.
The old cartoons with Humphrey the bear took place in brownstone national park. It’s a parody of Yellowstone. Idk the big basin reference.
I don't know what the connection to Big Basin is either, but it's where the redwoods are.
That painting is so cool but too expensive for me. Gosh the price of merchandise is so high. God willing if I can go in 2024 I won't be able to get much merchandise. Wilderness lodge is my favorite but again too pricey so I stay at Pop Century which I love as well especially for the sky liner. Thanks Trackers ❤
We highly recommend checking out the disney character warehouse outlet on Vineland on your next trip, if you haven't already. They have Disney merch for a better deal than in the parks and sometimes, it's the same merch that's in the park selling at full price. Definitely worth a trip to see what they have :-)

That area in Tortuga Tavern was a spot in the Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdon game. Usually a nice quiet spot - hidden gem just like you said. I remember this area from doing the game.

I was told when I was there ,The beginning of December that the munchlings no longer have a smell to them which I think is terrible. That's the best part about them.
