I love how each of Billie and Thea's actions all came from places of love for their dads, and that their genius knowledge of music and musical history meant that Bill & Ted raised them well.
@ Their knowledge was key to recruiting the band across time and space. Their genius doesn't lie in playing music, but in music theory and music history, both of which are legitimate academic fields (same reason why film studies can produce film critics, historians, and art officers -- and that's if they don't become directors and producers, either), They also mimic their dads in this regard -- a running gag in both films was that even though they were destined to save the universe through music, they were pretty terrible musicians themselves, so much so that the ending of the 2nd movie was them purposely time traveling to give them the time to learn their craft. The start of the third movie had them be more experimental, which reverted them back to their original skill levels. Just because you can't do something directly doesn't mean you can't be excellent in a support role. The historical band did the work but it wouldn't have been possible without Billie and Thea (and by extension, that wouldn't have been possible if their dads didn't raise them with a deep appreciation of music and music knowledge).
@@dairallan I extremely doubt that. I don't see why Samara Weaving would be on the set of The Matrix just because her uncle is Hugo Weaving and because it was filmed in Australia.
In the movie, they explained that everyone thought calling these babies by their dads' best friends' names was cute, but it actually helped influence the babies into growing up acting exactly like their dads. IRL in Bogus Journey the casting department cast two baby girls to play Lil Bill and Lil Ted, hoping no one would notice (it was and still is common practice). According to Ed Solomon, who helped create Bill & Ted in the first place, he found out about the babies' true gender and decided to incorporate that idea into this movie.
Whoever wrote this movie needs to go back to school or take some entheogens XD. The acting was all superb but some of the lines were teeeerrible and the whole film felt rushed.

I was sad that the movie didn’t get much success with the box office
Does Keanu and Samara know each other before?
as the first Matrix movies were made in Australia, there's a pretty high chance Keanu has known her since she was a little girl.
Samara Weaving is hugo weavings niece
@@wilsoneric032990 You think he ever tapped that?
