CHASE has given me such a hard time getting approved for credit. AMEX on the other hand has been so smooth, happy to be part of the family.
Yea, you have to have all your ducks in a row when it comes to Chase! I sweat every time I apply. lol
I feel you on this. With Amex, I am currently 7 for 7 with 4 business cards with Amex. With Chase, I am 3 for 4, with having to call the recon line on one of them to get approved. I really like Chase , but for me, Amex is 👑.

Thank you, I got approved for the Cash Ink but only after being denied first, then calling the reconsid line like you said. The denial letter in my Chase account said they pulled Transunion (surprisingly). This is my first business cc so thank you for your valuable insight!

Nice. Likewise. I just got my Ink Cash Card and I have the Ink Unlimited. I like how the sapphire reserve will boost the points from these cards when transferred to the CSR for Travel through the Chase portal.

I got the checking first for the sub bonus. Then months later I applied for the chase freedom unlimited and got approved. Now I'm waiting to apply for the business cash because my Experian isn't 700😭

I just applied for this card and got the 7-10 day message. But about 36 hours later I received an email that I was approved for a $16,000 limit! Great video and channel.

How long did you wait between the Freedom Flex and Business card applications? Also, did you get both sign up bonuses?
I waited 90 days between my applications between the Sapphire reserve and the ink unlimited. And then I waited another 90 days between my ink Unlimited and my ink cash. That was me playing it safe
My business advisor at local Chase says it's only soft pull PG for Business CC. Thoughts ?
I’m not a business advisor at Chase, but I can 100% tell you that it was a hard pull on my personal Experian credit report.
Mine told me the same thing. My Experian app alerted me while sitting at her desk. I wasn't happy.

I've had Chase personal checking for 17yrs. Freedom CC for about 7 years. Started new LLC this past February, opened biz checking in May of 22. I also have personal and biz checking with Navy Fed. I just received an email with a pre-approval offer from Chase for Biz Inc card (Came here to see which CRA they pull from). I'm debating on applying as I am 4/24 on personal credit cards and still working on getting utilization down. My current data points: Scores are all in mid 750's, 26% utilization, (3 inquiries all over 1 yr old). I may wait a little longer based on the info I found here and few other places. I want Amex personal and biz cards too but will have to apply for Chase first based on 5/24 rule. I heard you have to go inside and speak with a banker to apply for the Biz Preferred Inc and I am not sure which one I want. Does anyone know anything about that?
I would reduce your utilization to 1-3% overall. Though if you're under 20% that may work. Your mileage may vary. They may or may not pull Experian for you, FYI. It varies for everyone depending on where you live. I would encourage you to wait though. Best of luck!

I have been banking with Chase on the personal side for about 6 years, but all my business accounts are with another bank. I know the extremely high standards Chase has for credit and haven't even considered applying for credit with them because of the 5/24 rule which I figure I'll probably never meet. But, within the past 2 months I have received "invitations" to apply for the Business unlimited Ink and also the Southwest Business Card which is underwritten by Chase. I am very confused and very leary about applying with these "invitation numbers" because I know my personal credit is fair at best. I'm on the fence because I don't know if it's my banking relationship getting me these invitations or if they have done a soft pull on my credit to prequalify me. I can't imagine they would have sent me these invites after doing that soft pull...I'm still on the fence.
The mail invites are most likely based off of your banking relationship with them, which is a GOOD thing. I would take the mail invite to your local chase bank and apply inside if you're under 5/24. Show them the invite, but before you apply, ask them what else they may offer based on your credit score.

You don't actually need a good score for Chase. Plenty get approved with a 640. It's more about the 5/24 rule is why it's hard to get

Chase business does not report to personal credit-like most- UNLESS you default

Yes, you need a business with an EIN or you can apply as a sole prop with your SSN

It’s a huge misconception that Chase pull your credit with Experian. :)
No misconception, they do.
Yes they do and it's a hard pull. I applied and got denied because of a BK from 2015. I was told by a Rep if I open a checking account and build a relationship with them I may get approved after a year.
