- Joint stakeout introduced by Ambassador Riyad Mansour, Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, on the situation in Gaza.
Dr. Imad Al-Tamimi, who spent 13 days working at the European Hospital in Gaza told reporters today (06 Mar), “It's tragic. I have been in different missions, but this was the most terrible and horrific that I have seen in my life.”
He continued, “I plea that the humanity of each one of us to do something to stop this. You guys heard it in TVs and everything but honestly, we lived every single day for 13 days in Gaza, and it wasn't easy.”
“I saw it in my eyes and I've treated patients and I cried every single day. And thank God that I came back here to at least be their voice, not my voice, their voice,” Dr Al-Tamimi said.
Rula El-Farra also spoke to reporters, she said that she lost about 150 extended family members in Gaza.
She said, “Every single minute counts, every single minute signifies the death and destruction and agony of our people.
She told reporters, “We asked for a permanent ceasefire and a permanent solution to the people of Palestine.”
El-Farra also said, “Today, none of us are here for condolences. We're not here for apologies, we're here for immediate action. We have demonstrated that every minute signifies the loss of a life, the starvation of a child. And so, we need an immediate and permanent, not temporary, permanent ceasefire.”

A rocket hit our house and killed my 16 year old brother Ahmad instantly and my 6 year old brother mohamed, 8. My sister sarah who is 17, suffered 70% burns to her body with no medical intervention.
Mohamed died with no medical help after 4 days of being trapped in the house. My parents are still there and I have no news of them , are they dead or alive?

Over my lifetime, I've watched many horrific events happen in Israel, but pictures of Gaza's starving children transported me back to Biafra in the 60's. Most young today never heard of it, but I was about 13 when it happened. It was the first time I'd ever seen starving children, and it was so traumatic I can't forget it. Pictures of Gaza's starving children reminded me of that day.

You should watch the Piers Morgan interview with Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish who lost 22 members of his family, his daughter was just finishing medical school and many others were well educated. Despite his loss, he had no bitterness and wants peace for Israelis as well as Palestinians. The media and government leaders from USA and UK continually portray the Palestinians as blood thirsty extremists but the vast majority are highly educated and philosophical people who want peace. How the Palestinians have endured 75 years of brutal dehumanising, tyrannical oppression beggars belief and the world and International law has let them down time and again. USA is a criminal and has shielded Israel from any accountability, vetoing over 40 times down the years, thereby blocking the UN from taking any action against the Israelis.

65th day of the war in gaza, IDF attacked their family one of her brother died, other brother and sister wounded, but without medical help her little brother died, after 2 month she tooked her sister to Egypt, her sister in critical condition,
burned of 70% her body, she doesn't know the other members of her family did they life or died , she lost her family 😭
In brief: She is 19y old, moved from their home to live with relatives. On day 65 a rocket hit their residence, a brothe Ahmed 11 died, Mohammed 8 injured but died 4 days later because they have to hide and pretend to be all dead otherwise they will be bombed again. Her sister Sarah17 whose ambition to be a doctor had massive burns. Then they (herslf and Sarah) moved south then to Egypt and finally to USA (appearently they have US citizinship?) where her sister is now been treated. They left behind a big extended family that they dont know what happened to them due to lack of communications.

Hamas is not the root of the problem. Israel crushed non violent Palestinian resistance and created Hamas - not figuratively but literally. Israel has created Apartheid in Palestine and has left Palestinians with no options to live. Israel must answer for everything.
