I'm the Zen player in the first match, I was sitting there like "man he is transcending with levels like every turn how do I even try and keep up with that" lol I kept it closer than I thought I would but I just couldn't get there. Nobody expects mauls, I've won so many games with maul netting me extra tigers on turns where I've blanket buffed all of my tigers though. I think its a lot better than people give it credit for since its a card that can unbrick the combo cards or on a turn where tigers are buffed its 5 value in a single card. GGs though! was a super fun game!
I think in the last game arsenalling the chi was actually correct Because Ira was so low on health, every point of damage had to be blocked, which means that even the smallest attacks had incredible defensive utility. You couldn't afford a turn to lay off the gas to set up an arsenal later because that would just leave you in kodachi lock, and leaving the chi in hand left open the possibility of drawing too many non-blocks and dying immediately.
