imo flexors is very powerful into aggro mirrors, it's basically a second zen state in a lot of matchups.

I'm a little skeptical of rotten remains specifically as anti nuu tech, mostly because if you block with it and Nuu gets to play it....

sharpened senses is insane in hatchet dori. this plus a blue plus tunic and spill blood is a 3 card 17 that resets dynamos. plus with blade flurry you can do a 3 card 15 assuming a dagger hits, and you don't need tunic with that.

Cull is gas please don't use cull defensively. It's worth so much more when you're attacking

gotta pay the Mistveil tax via concealed blade + extra dagger in inventory

I actually think Relentless Pursuit is a really good card in CC Fang. Blue block 3 is already great as a baseline but you can also mark your opponent on demand, which combines all the things Fang would want in a blue.

did I miss something or shouldn't the silver talons at 14:13 have killed with a poisoned blade trigger?

Sadly having played a lot of test games so far my perception is the hero is very underwhelming. She has an incredibly hard time threating enough mask triggers even with the dagger shenanigans and gets absolutely murdered by warriors using Dynamos while being outraced by the superior aggro decks. I'll keep watching for a list that manages to balance out the problems I am seeing so far.

Art of the Dragon: Blood should only discount played cards, not weapons since they aren't played. That's a Talishar bug.

How has Art: Blood been so far? Do you feel the hoops are worth it? Edit: Well I asked that before the games started and you got a nuts draw with it lmao, and then explained your rationale too.

Fealty does apply before costs are calculated so art of dragon blood can discount fake draconic cards

Something I think would be interesting to discuss is evaluating value in decks that put up non-traditional numbers, something like Dash IO where 12 for 4 doesn't really hold true in the same way.

These are so good! One of the core skills is playing out of a brick/bad hand - definitely something that can be micro-optimised.

Thanks for the serious! Great watch, that has given me things to think about. Recently a skill i've been practicing is playing flexible cards and playlines. Hands that give you multiple options based on how your opponent blocks rather then a one dimensional play that always plays the attack reaction regardless. Been really helping me out as nuu

Did try your list yesterday in an armory (spoiler: did a turn 0 levels into sacred art that got an azalea down to 30😂) I think you can cut one of the wax off for another blue as it does feel clunky late game when you want to close out but kept on drawing dreacts (I think another pouncing qi blue or maybe a 1 of winds of eternity or maybe another red combo piece since the blue count is already high) deck feels solid overall!

Awesome content and really insightful/helpful! I just picked up zen as a potential Memphis pick but usually only play midrange and control decks, so the commentary is awesome to see. Keep up the awesome work (and great thumbnails)!

You can maintain a "hits in a row" chain by flicking the daggers because you generate a "hit" on the chain link. But you can't trigger the Momentum card draw effect on an otherwise blocked chain link because the attack action card itself isn't what is hitting. So if they block your second attack, you can flick to keep the "hits in a row" going. If they block your third attack, you can hurl the dagger to keep the hits in a row going, and when you finally get an attack action card to connect with your fourth chain link, you will draw a card.
