Got this E2 last year for Christmas, as gift to get me started on my journey of model railways. Always had a fascination with E2s, despite many people disliking them. It is as you said "One man's trash, is another man's treasure."
Best thing I have found is a Fleischmann Track Rubber. Also helps if all of your rolling stock has metal-tyred wheels. The plastic wheels will develop static and literally suck dust out of the air and will run rough, derail, and make your rails dirty.
The bit of equipment you pointed to when you talked about the vacuum brake is actually a pump for the Weir feed water system that the E2’s were equipped with prior to their BR days.
I made sure to subscribe because the number was at 199 and i know how it feels to be almost at the subscriber goal and yet not there; im going through that right now! good video as well. Keep making stuff!!
I know this is off topic, but I would recommend switching your train from the black steel Bachman track to the grey titanium track. The grey track not only looks better, but corrodes less.
I love the thing but I would recommend doing it in lbsc black and number it to 105-109 and any in between and cut the bunker down to make it more like the e2 and cut off the whistles or try get them out and drill a new hole on the top of the cab to fit it on that then it will look more like the e2 with them updates what o have mentioned and less like Thomas
I think they drew inspiration from the ERTL model of Bluebell. Instead of tooling up a P Class casting, they used the Thomas tooling in this SECR Livery with the number 323
I first Heard that Music in 2019 in a channel named tatsu, unfortunaly the channel was been deleted and I started my search around the beggining of 2021 and finaly now, at the end of 2023 i founded it, thank you so much!!!
I meant to get to this sooner, but I've been kind of busy recently. The van kept derailing multiple times while I was filming so I was just getting fed up with it. I also thought it would be funny to do that. I put it back on the rails after I was done filming though
5:38 OMG ITS NEVILLE
3:18 love your funny editing

Love how you kept the van there for 11:28.

It’s the Westinghouse air brake pump

Thank you!! :D

For track cleaning, I would avoid the common Bright Boy things. Yes they clean the track, but they also put tons of micro scratches into the rails.
Funny you say that bc I actually have one. Thankfully I haven't used it for awhile
Now I want it, in fact I'm putting it on my Christmas list right now.

keep the vids up!
What do you think of the London Midland and Scottish railway 3F jinty
I think they are kind of basic bc I've seen so many pictures of them, but I still like them nonetheless
What does also the the big Mickey tank
Get yourself an old Triang/Hornby track cleaning car or you can make one yourself!
if they could make a new built e2 with a different boiler design, that could be very interesting to see
4:37 whats that music
One-Eyed Maestro by Kevin MacLeod
Thanks

@@Angrythomas36 Of course! I've had the same problem before so I understand how annoying it can be to find a certain song. Glad I could help!
:)
can you check out the HORNBY OO BR, 0-4-0T - ERA 5
I make no promises, but I'll think about it
E2s were known to be
B E E G
It’s a box!
DID YOU KNOW EXIST HORNBY IN SOUTHERN RAILWAY LIVERY?
Use a paper towel and run it over your track to clean. Also HORNBY says to run each model in 30 minutes in each direction
I don't think he knows what that means clearly he's a beginner 🙄
£70 for a loco from 1979?????? That can buy you like 3 airfix autotanks.
10:39 Y u hate van? wat he do to u it not the vans fault that he died :

Ordinary rubbing alcohol and a rag will keep your track clean.
THOMAS

i want it after watching this 😐
