Tbh this story is everyone being reasonable in their own way. Thomas: Afraid of losing the branch line he worked so hard for. The Big Engines: Being mad at being ridiculed for reasons at least partially beyond their control. (It's not their fault there's no station pilot, which is bound to mess things up) Sir Topham Hatt: Wanting everything to run smoothly and to get a new station pilot, but making do with the limited resources he has and giving discipline. To me, this just seems like a lose-lose situation. Everyone is rightfully upset, but nothing can be done to fix the elephant in the room, which is the lack of a station pilot.
Excellent new story of Thomas and his coaches, I hope the final one will come out soon and I hope the coaches will have names in time and, it would teach Henry, Gordon and James a lesson about how branch lines are important too
A very nice story here. Really love the atmosphere you've created, especially at 10:00, with all the different sounds and engines crossing the bridge above as Thomas leaves, while it's raining. It's great to watch and listen to. The choice of music from ODST is perfect too. I will say, it did feel a little weird hearing myself voicing Henry, because I honestly can't for the life of me remember doing those lines lol. But anyway, well done.
I feel my overall goal is to show the NWR as a fully functioning railway so I throw in engines in the background or nearby and then the sounds basically do the work to show that haha. and the ODST opening was actually something that came later on during the editing stage. I went through like two other pieces until I realised I had this one I've been wanting to use for a while. But in regards to Henry, haha, you did them all at once but I could only have Part 2 out at the time. To be fair that was nearly two years ago now
This was fantastic man! Of course originally like I said before I thought that Thomas and his coaches was originally just a two-parter but I'm glad to see it continuing and I can't wait to see part 4. Also I can't help but notice there's a bit of a similarity to Thomas and hot water by Dan which I obviously love. Keep up the good work dude!
my premise for this story was Thomas overthinking, so he would be hotter and since he wouldn't stay at Knapford Harbour often or for long he wouldn't need the water tower there. It being like Thomas in Hot Water wasn't my intent but I needed to show how much water he was going throw
I always liked the idea with the engines interacting with rolling stock really changes things up the rolling stock characters for example Henrietta aren’t used to their full potential
Quite a nice episode! I love how Thomas' stress is portrayed here! Also really like the foreshadowing! Amazing as always, and I cannot wait to see how this concludes!
you know what I noticed? thomas and henry seem to have a very toxic dynamic. thomas never gave henry any sympathy when he was in his old shape even calling him fat, he then tells henry he doesn’t care if the viaduct collapses and his passengers die as long as he runs his trains on time, henry ignored thomas’ warnings about the costal line and calls him danger on the rails and thomas accuses henry of faking being sick and leaves him with an entire line of coal trucks.
I wasn't expecting an new story in this book. Great job. Looking forward to the last part. _"Shut up, Henry!"_ 😆 This must take place after "A Proud Day for James", as our No. 5 is delighted to take the Express. And I just loving hearing "Oh, the indignity!" 🤣 "Annabel and Clara". Oh, come now... 😜 If I might point something out, I can barely hear the lines over the music and sound effects. Perhaps you could lower the volume on the latter two in future? Or do you have captions to make up for that?
@@ThomasKinninmonth ok I’m not complaining it’s just haven’t heard anything new from you in a while plus I like the duck and Oliver episode but I really hate cliffhangers no offense
@kylemaccauley6065 all good. Sorry, I realise how it sounds online and not from an actual voice. But it should be continuing between now and September, hopefully concludes by November

Annie and Clarabel's models look like a hybrid of RWS and CGI🧡💛
Not to mention, this yellowish-orange colour really suits them ✌🏾👍🏾
Two years later, Thomas and his coaches returned, and I can’t wait to see part three
That was fantastic. Love the tidbit with the lead in with the children at the end. Very nice indeed.
Another great adaptation! The shots and angles are beautiful! Also shout out to all the voice actors!
Cracking new episode Tom! Absolutely love the lighting in this one too!

I like how you depicted henry as a pacific instead of a ten wheeler.

Amazing!!,!,!,
Can you link all the music you used in the first and second part please I have trouble finding them?
The placement of Thomas's wheel counterweights throws me off a little. Is this how the counterweights of the Class E2 wheels actually are?
@@JohnYoung-jf3jo I'm actually not too sure. I know they were quite large for the middle one, but I can't remember how they went for the others

Great story but why is Henry a 4-6-2 and not a 4-6-0?
in the RWS he was frequently depicted as a 4-6-2 in most of his appearances

Most likely Sodor Workshops.

Why did some of the scenes have shadows and some didn’t
I won't lie I'm confused by this question
3:44 no shadows, 4:14 shadows
@Emilyfan15 I won't lie. I'm not sure. It's either lighting or because things changed halfway through filming
Ok
