Just gotta say, I'm really standing in our forest out back, not a green screen. It was a beautiful crisp cold morning with a slight breeze causing some audio interference. The sun felt really good and kept me warm enough to finish filming :)
Oh, wow. It looked too still to be real. I'm glad the sun cooperated with your filming!
@@chaosfrogs The sun was so nice and i love filming outside, but it's always more challenging. Even on this almost perfect day we did have some retakes due to random clouds making everything go dark. We also had to stop and move forward about 15 feet at one point because the shadows had moved so much I was half dark and half blindingly bright.
@@animalwondersmontana I guess that's the mixed joys of natural lighting. When it's working for you it's *SO* working. But haha if you think you can control it.
I think it's the blur outlining you that makes people think it's a green screen. I'm an editor and work cameras for a living and can't figure out why this is happening haha.
I planted 10 trees yesterday in my area.
👏👏👏👏
I've got to say, I'm loving this tree-love invasion of all my favourite channels :) Thank you!
The tortoises don't just disperse the seeds, they provide a handy pile of fertiliser at the same time!
Truth!
Thank you for promoting team trees
Yay! Trees! So happy you joined the fundraiser!
You are really great with animals... and nature! We need more people like you out there.
I knew you guys would join Team Trees, you're such strong advocates of life and quality of life for all creatures that I was sure we'd be getting a video about it before long. Thank you everyone at Animal Wonders for caring so much. You inspire me daily.
You’re such a blessing Jessie - not only an animal conservationist but you also care about trees as well 😭❤️
Thanks to your inspiration i donated!
🌲🌲🌲❤❤❤!!!
I didn’t know there was more reason to love you
i also dont know
VERY INNOVATIVE SUBJECT !!!! WELL DONE!!!!
Glad the tree planting movements is back in the headlines again. They were big back when I was a teenager almost 40 years ago, with million tree plantings all around the world. Hope this one is as successful and that people remember the message longer.
Bahh.... Very Beautiful Beautiful Animals show...👌👍🔔🔔
Huckleberry loves trees!!!!
Team trees have invaded many of my favorite channels this is great!
This was a really great episode, Joe (It's ok to be smart) did something on beavers a while back and this expanded on that in lots of really cool ways. Thank you so much for these videos Jessi. It would be really nice to see some videos on what to do in wild/home-animal emergency situations, with predators vs. prey animals and different family's of animals too. And the dangers for animals effected by human habitation. We have lots of foxes where I live in Berlin, they help with rodent overpopulation and people seem to respect them, we call them Hoffuchse ("courtyard foxes"). I find it really interesting that they aren't seen as a pest species so much here, but we also have functionally ended rabies in the wild in Germany.
Either way, I'll keep watching :)
Using ecosia.org as a search engine seems legit, as well!
Ecosia is great
I love this channel♥️
I really wonder why there is people dislike this video?....maybe they from underworld i guess...
You are simply amazing!
Wild and feral bees also rely on trees to live, as most honey bees nest in tree cavities, and a lot of wasps also nest in tree cavities or on branches
Also I know I’m late but I’ve been on an animal wonders binge this week
I've watched hours of these and only just now noticed that Jessie's intro blurb describes her as Human Homo Sapien lol love this channel.
I love the bever so cute
This is an amazing video
Ibe never noticed how much Kemo's eyes move when he eats! Surely that must cause some visual distortion?
Looked like Loki was sniffing to see if you had anything good to give him.
This was great!
I cannot imagine how sad the life must be of the two people who have disliked this video.
I liked Hashed Out and History Pop . Both pretty cool
I love animals
I love trees
yay
Oh I love them all but kemosabis talking melts my heart😍🐾🐾 Jessi, might I ask for your thoughts on something? We have a wonderful lesser tenrec and a couple of months ago we got kitten. We are of course VERY careful with any interaction or even the kitty just watching him- and of course we close both the cage and the door to the tenrecs room if we leave our apartment. My question is, can these guys grow up like "siblings"/neighbours/not view eachother as food, or should I not even hope...? Domestic cats are both predator and prey, and the tenrec does have both spikes and teeth (by that I mean he is not like a helpless soft mouse).. The kitty is curious and playful, but she can also calmly fall asleep beside us while we hold him. Usually I just show her that we pet and hug the tenny and briefly let them sniff eachother while I hold him.. I also placed towels with his scent here and there in our home from day one we brought the kitty home, so she would know he was there before her and recognize/tolerate his scent. What is your professional opinion, can cats ever be trusted with pets that are smaller then them...?
I love trees and they are the in the photos of some of my favorite living things - cicadas. :D I have a smallish yard so I only planted two (mulberry) trees but I didn't remove any of the trees that were here when I bought it. I take care of them. I did lose one but it was sort of natural... it was struck by lightning then fell over. Actually the birds eating from the 1st Mulberry tree gave me the 2nd one. I have often wondered how many wild mulberry trees were growing in my area thanks to the birds so maybe I had a small hand in having more trees planted than I think I have. :) My town has a few thousand acres set aside as protected natural areas and I go hiking in them often. I bring bags with me to pick up litter others left behind. I hope that helps the trees too in some small way. - Heidi
I didnt realize they got a third tortois? Did I miss something? Lol
Me as someone who's been in Oregon too long: Why is she in front of a green screen, she lives near trees...
Me as someone who suddenly remembers growing up in Montana: Oh yeah, it's nearly November and it's fracking freezing outside, by now.
We do have snow now, but Jessi and I filmed this outdoors last week when the weather was nice!
@@thatmaia I mean... it was kind of nice weather. I was still freezing by the end of the shoot, lol.
👑
It's weird but I rarely picture fish with trees...
Yea
Hey Jessi! You inspire me a lot! I would love to contribute to your conservation journey by making custom made art of your animals. How do I reach you??
Wonderful! Send us an email to animalwonders@email.com, I'd love to see what you create!
Jessie can you do a video on harnesses pleeessseeee
yay trees!!!
i love your vidios
I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️
I like it so much
That's why there are no animals on the moon. No trees.
Hello, I am making website/blog about trees... so can I use this video (I will give credits) Thank You!
#teamtrees
I wish that it did not end
Is team trees international?
💞💞💞💞
I just love animals so I’m in
This 20m trees is spreading i m likin dis
Loki looks like this: 😏
Humans also have eaten cambium in the past. :)
I want to see the return of the American Chestnut... unfortunately they are being killed or kept down by a fungus introduced from the Asian Chestnut when they were brought over :(
Actually, it’s 20 million trees *by* 2020. Only two months!
Well, they're raising $20 million by 2020, and then planting the trees over the next two years
Yes they are just trying to raise 20m by 2020 it's impossible to plant 20m by 2020
Yeah it may seem like not enough time to raise that kind of money, but they are already at 12 to 14 million dollars (I’m not sure if team trees includes the UA-cam donations) so they should be able to easily reach that goal. The trees themselves will be planted over the next two years.
It’s cool how most you tubers have to use a green screen to get a forest behind them, but Jessie can just walk outside
Edit: yes i know she’s not outside in this video, but we’ve seen the forest outside before so it’s still cool
But, I am outside in this video. ??? Does the forest really look too good to be true? That's our backyard, guys, it's really real!
woah wait. When did you get Waffle?
Ah, out of order episodes! We jumped on the chance to join #teamtrees so 🐢Waffle's introduction was pushed to next week.
kurama
Everyone is obsessed with this fad, but there are some downsides:
What to do with excess trees after completion?
What about plants that need more carbon dioxide, but is stolen from them?
Will it cause the extinction of plants that use less/more carbon dioxide?
When will it be completed?
Who will fund it when it goes to the big people at the government? We should not let the government do it for us.
Woah none of those are downsides. I think you are misunderstanding what this is. There are no excess trees. The 20 million+ that are planted no where near make up for the trillions that are cut down. Trillions. It’s unlikely we will ever make up for that deficit and we certainly won’t through this project. All those trees will be protected and left for their natural lifespans. There is literally no way to cause a carbon deficit by planting trees. There is way to much carbon dioxide in the air at the moment due to the burning of fossil fuels, so there is no way these trees will be stealing enough co2 to cause any harm to other plants. This is much more likely to slow any extinctions than cause any. The species are chosen to be exactly what the environment needs in the location they will be planted, and they will all be native species. The government isn’t involved in this project at all. The whole thing is run by youtubers and the Arbor Day foundation. There are no “big people” for the money to go to, and there is shockingly little overhead. I’m really not sure where you got these ideas from, but I would highly recommend looking up team trees for more info, and please consider donating.
Edit: as for when it will be complete, fundraising will be done by January 1, 2020, and the trees themselves will be planted over the next two years.
Thank you for promoting team trees
