Thanks Christina. Since I've been watching you, I've learned so much about why we do things in golf, along with how to do them, such as grip, stance, take away, shallowing the club, posture, swing plane, etc, etc. You're a great student of this great game with the humility to leave room for self improvement and individuality, yet help others hit like Christina and get "More Pars"!!!
good stuff right there!!!
Again, simple explanation and even better demonstration. Will work what I see here today at the range. Thank You!
Thanks Christina, heading to the range later.
Hi Christina have you ever thought of the golf swing as a shifting of the weight overhand throwing of the club head using in sequence your hands; wrists, upper and lower arms and your rotating trail shoulder? I see the best players actually throwing their club at the transitional timing they are shifting their weight forward. Of course your butt move of flexed moving hips are also required with this overhand throwing of the club head down and through the ball. And because the right shoulder is extremely active it can appear as an inside ( not outside) over the top swing.
There are many ways to view a club swing. For example Ben Hogan thought it to be a right underhand throw after achieving his shallowing his club. But this could only have been achieved after the overhand throwing of his club head at the transitional part of his swing when his backswing collides with his downswing during the weight shifting of his body. What say you? Cheers. 😊🥂
