    Lyrics:
One summer night, we fell in love
One summer night, I held you tight
You and I, under the moon of love, moon of love
One summer night, I kissed your lips
One summer night, I held you close
You and I, under the moon of love
You kissed me oh, so tenderly
And I knew this was love
And I as held you, oh so close
I knew no one could ever take your place, ohh
One summer night, we fell in love
One summer night, I held you tight
You and I, under the moon of love, (moon of love)

It's amazing that this group from Brooklyn could record such a great song but never again be able to hit the national charts. This recording went to No. 7 nationwide (on the Mercury label in 1958), but they also recorded on Amp 3, Everest, Lemans and Smash with very little success.

Dearest Sylvia, Jesus warns us in Mark chapter 8 verse 34-38 about gaining the world and losing our souls. Forgiveness and cleansing from sin is only by means of His blood given for us on His cross. I pray you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior and be found in Him when He returns. Shalom.

+Kay Abel I really thought you would get it, otherwise why would you post what you did, nothing in my reponse indicated I don't believe in God my almighty father..BUT you are talking about losing your Soul over Romance..I was spesking of the Spiritual sence of Being...Mind, Body and Spirit..it is all encompassing with God I sure hope you find that Journey..it is Gods path, his intention for us when he gave up his only Son Jesus..I don't need to quote the bible get through to you...Be Blessed..So, ok lets get back to the music lol

+sylvia lobland You lost me when you spoke of chakras. What do they have to do with following Christ? Btw, I lost my one and only love two years ago. We met in highschool and never dated anyone else after we met. We were together for over 50 years, married for 51 years. I overcome my profound lonliness and the unbearable pain of my loss through prayer and the comfort and consolation of the Holy Spirit. I know that when I am listening to this music, I am sowing to my flesh from which I will reap corruption. The seducing spirits among us are very powerful. Grace and peace be with you.

+Kay Abel First of all I'm sorry for your loss,I also lost the man in my life to death..What do the Chakras have to do with Christ..they our centering device for the vessel he has given you to navigate in this time called Life..We are Spiritual Beings living in a Human body..They are our guide to connect to our Lord up above to Mother earth down below. If you are curious how the Chakras help you navigatenon this Earth .Check them out..only if you do Believe or not if you would rather get on here and pound the flesh of your loss on others..Peace,Love and Light..now lets listen to the music.

You know why the good old days were good? shit man I was 19 in 1959 not 75, aside from that, yes! no other time in world history like it, the songs were about LOVE no rap and crap dude's, if I could just go back wow! even the thought of it makes my day. I was with the 77th Special Forces (green berets then) some were shipping out to Laos and we thought that was the south side of Chicago or somewhere then, LOL! Know what I know now I likely would have escaped to Canada myself because that damn war put a cloud over our nation and its still their, maybe you young guys and gals can grab the spirit and change it, at any rate its your turn now and I don't envy you, one piece of advice though HAVE A GREAT TIME, DO IT FOR ME, IM TO SCREWED UP!! and end the damn wars forever!! no glory in war kids only the dead and the dying, believe me I seen it been their done that, nations is ran by money and criminals, don't let them con you!! like they did us.

ravenwolf789 I pretty much agree with you ravenwolf. I was 17 in 1959. War doesn't determine who is right or wrong, it only determines who is left. We had a lot of variety in our music in the '50's, '60's and a few in the '70's. We had happy songs, sad songs (Patches, Laura, Teen Angel, etc.) funny songs, love songs and dumb songs (Rubber Biscuit). Some were good for dancing to and some just for listening to. So many of today's songs sound like they just have different words to the same music. Especially in Country music. Glad I was a teenager back then and not now. Incidently, the word "their" that you used should be spelled "there" when used the way you used it. I'm not complaining, just one man in his '70's helping out another man in his '70's.
