- Lawyers for Hunter Biden plan to sue Fox News “imminently,” according to a letter sent to the network and obtained by NBC News. The letter puts Fox News on notice for litigation claims arising from the network’s alleged “conspiracy and subsequent actions to defame Mr. Biden and paint him in a false light, the unlicensed commercial exploitation of his image, name, and likeness, and the unlawful publication of hacked intimate images of him.” The Morning Joe panel discusses.

They already have been and decided to settle with Dominion for $787M. Smartmatic is next and their lawsuit is 2x what Dominion was asking for. This should be an easy slam dunk and I doubt Fox will want to fight Hunter's case in court when all the incriminating evidence will come from Fox and the owner does NOT want to be called to testify in court. Of Fox claims he took $100M in bribes, then he should sue them for $100M.
Holding the news media accountable will never happen. We have to remember the warnings we were given by WikiLeaks about the compliant media in bed with the corrupt and entrenched political class. These warnings were given to us following the Hillary/Bernie debacle.

it. The Russians already had planted stuff on it.

The fact that you have to ask for a retraction is insane!! The entire load of responsibility should be on those the defamed someone. Defamation, by definition, is spreading knowingly false information. It being known to be false before they spread it makes it fully their responcibility and the entirety of the consequences should fall on them without extra chances

From my observations as an Aussie, it's not the rules themselves but the interpretation of them. It's _supposed_ too be freedom of opinion and to speak truth to power.
