I' m a Vietnamese. I adviced you that you should prioritize take care about public security problem when you're come here rather than food. Because Viet Nam have a lot stealers, thieves and robbers. Especially in the South of Vietnam. Robbing also working during the day.

I am a Filipino but that balut is presented very nicely! They have an amazing, unique and drooling food in Vietnam. Sauna looks good but the pizza rice paper is my favorite.
That is something Filipinos should work on, presentation and the richness in flavor. What I've noticed is that our neighboring countries put a lot of different spices and flavor to their food whereas most Filipinos are content with bland and fried food. No wonder spicy street foods are getting popular here because it adds a lot to the food, something our most traditional dishes don't have.
@@khust2993 I think you need to explore more. There are so many dishes out there that is more than "Bland and fried food".. And there are also many dishes here in ph that uses balut as the main ingredient. Just saying

I'm telling you, it's not only good for non-Vietnamese to enjoy Sonny's videos and seeing all of the great dishes of Vietnam but even for Vietnamese and Viet Kieu, the eye opening videos and unique dishes/locals/cultures are more than worthy of our time. If Sonny's videos aren't enough to tell all of the Viet Kieu that Little Saigon in CA and Houston's VN restaurants can't hold a candle to food in a stall in Vietnam, I don't know what will. BTW Sonny, you know that deep down in the dark dank basement somewhere, Anthony Bourdain is taking notes from your videos trying to get ready for his next trip to VN, right?

Filipina is Filipino also🤔🤔🤔 the female countetpart only... Because there is nothing to jealous about. We also innovated balut's recipes with a twist but never been known for some people ... because most of Filipinos find balut with gross appeal to eat.

I am anatural born Filipino who lives in vietnam now, and i visited Dalat last month. . stayed there for 5 days but I couldn't get enough of the place. . Dalat is wonderful and their food there is much more similar (the taste, the saltiness, the aroma) with ours in the Philippines compared to other parts of vietnam. . I love Dalat and will definitely go back there!!!!

I've only been to Vietnam twice but I've stayed for two weeks on both occassions and I can say that the food is something I terribly miss. More Vietnamese should come to the Philippines and set up authentic Vietnamese restos. Most of the very few ones we have here can't even pho right. We have a lot of Korean, Chinese and Japanese restos but there's still a lot of space for Vietnamese cuisine.
