I really liked that after Omega introduced herself to Eva, she was introduced to the other kids as "Omeega," just like she says it.
I wonder if that’s a sign of, since the kids are so young and have been captive, that they haven’t even learned that “Omega” is a word in addition to being her name, so the way she pronounces it would be the only one they’ve ever heard.
Lol I wondered if I just imagined the stress on the syllable.

Wrecker is such a funny character, and I found it funny how relaxed he was in the ship while his brothers were risking a lot trying to get the coordinates for Tantiss.
Also, I found it funny that he wore the imperial officer's hat when carrying him and then smiled when he placed it back on that knocked out imperial's head.
Rampart is a jerk but I don't think he's stupid. At this point he's escaped Imperial custody and helped fugitives infiltrate a highly secure Imperial base. Trying to go back would be a death sentence and he knows it

He is complicit in genocide and an all-around evil dude, but I do prefer Rugged Rampart to the unnaturally tidy version.
Is that how Ozzel managed to become an full Admiral despite his incompetence?
I was a little surprised at how much I enjoyed Rampart this episode. It's always a fun dynamic with Ex-Imperials. Though Rampart is nowhere near Kallus's level
I like that Omega emphasizes that the reason she was able to escape before is that she had training.
I love Omega’s character arc. She went from being a kinda whiny but self-sufficient child, to a child commando ready to do anything and think outside the box for her mission
Watching the Batch's shuttle try to latch onto the science shuttle gave me flashbacks to Crosshair failing to latch a tracker into the shuttle that took Omega. My heart was pounding! Great storytelling, it feels so refreshing to watch a Star Wars story where I'm genuinely worried if the heroes will win
I love the juxtaposition of Omega’s make shift top-down view map and the top down view of all of tantiss!

There was another shot of Tantiss from above that transitioned nicely into the circular Vault.
This show is visually and dramatically getting better and better!
I like the way Omega is scoping things out and making plans. That view of the gas giant with the multiple cloud cities was gorgeous. I want to blow up a screenshot of that and put it on my wall.
That was Bora Vio from season 1 episode 9!
Besides the Andor reference with Cassian breaking through the wall to flood the floor, back in Bad Batch S01:E01 Omega escaped the cell on Kamino by going through a hole in the wall that Wrecker punched out.
It's so important to show heroes fail to make scenes like these tense. If your protagonist always succeeds, there is no more tension and you're just waiting for it all to unfold as predicted. That ending was really well paced and tight!
Omega has become quite the badass and I’m here for it. Not that it new but I really felt it this episode. The whole “I’ve escaped this place before and I’ll do it again” just hit really well.
This was such a good episode, plenty of suspense and funny moments.

Bro I was on the edge of my chair when watching this episode especially when Echo was boreding the science vessel I cried when I thought he died in the citadel Ark of the clone wars I'll be crushed if it happens again for real this time 😢

There's a lot of beards appearing in the Empire as of late. I approve!
But on a serious note, I was also on the edge of my seat. I cheered when the Bad Batch were able to attach to the other ship in time. Given all the bad things that recently happened, anything is possible. I was totally calm and knew Wrecker would be safe last week, but I could have definitely seen them missing this and Echo getting taken to Tantiss on his own. I was even worried Omega was about to get caught by Dr. Scalder (what a great name) and her plan to escape was about to be completely ruined!
The next episode is called Flash Strike, and I have to think that if the Bad Batch as smart, what they do is arrive at Tantiss, grab coordinates and then jet off again immediately so they can gather up some forces and increase their chances of survival when attacking Tantiss. But then again, maybe not. It could just be the Bad Batch on their own, and we won't get the Avengers like in Rebels and even Resistance to a lesser extent. I'd hate to see that because it seemed like something really big was happening with Rex, we still don't even know if Chuchi is succeessful in getting the Clones' pensions! There's so much left to do, and so little time, even with an extended Finale (there's no way episode 15 is not at least 45 or more minutes, if it's just a standard episode length, we riot).
This episode gave me the feel from end of The Mandalorian season 2 where the heroes first have to find the coordinates to imperial location with the help of an ex-imperial and then sneak their way to the imperial location to rescue someone they care about.
Part of me is terrified that there is only 40 minutes of content left, unless the finale is a longer special.
I just wish Rex, Howzer, and Gregor were there to help 🥺
I honestly think all the Batch, expect Omega will die in the series finale - at least their fates left ambiguous, hence why Rex is sadly not present - but who knows!!

@@t8537 I agree based off the the last 2 titles flash strike and the cavalry has arrived I think that they'll get there get captured but escape pretty quickly and reach out to rex and then they work with omega to rescue the kids and after the kids are rescued omega and the Batch will get captured again towards the end of episode 14 but just as they get captured rex arives and strikes tantis and that's the end of the episode and episode 15 opens up with rex and his calvary on the ground in tantis
Rampart was funny asf in this ep, hopefully he will have a redemption next ep. TANTISS MENTIONED RAAAH!!!

I'm surprised that not a single reviewer I've watched recognised the Ghost In The Shell vibes in the first scene with Omega when she wakes up.

I’m wondering if the show is going to have Echo go off and liberate the Clones while the Bad Batch break out Omega and the kids before they regroup. I mean, the second half of this season hasn’t had any attention on the Clone Trooper Storyline despite it being a selling point for the show to fans. I’d be forgiving to anyone who forgot the original point of attacking Tantiss was to rescue the Clones there. Having Echo and and possibly Rex and his remaining team rescue the Clones would free up the rest of the Bad Batch to focus on Omega and the kids. After all it’s been Echo and Rex who have really been about protecting regular Clones while that’s been a secondary goal for Clone Force 99.
If Rex, Gregor, and Howzer somehow get involved, it’s likely the third dies given we don’t see him in Rebels. Though how would Wolffe end up in Tantiss? An Imperial prisoner after showing mercy to Rex and his team? And if the Bad Batch survive the finale, where are they going to go? Will they just become nomads who stay on the move? What about the kids and Clones they rescue?
I wonder if once the boys make it to Tantiss and disable the imperials on the science vessel, they will give the Tantiss coordinates to Rex. Rex and co. then arrive maybe late into the fight and still help in the Tantiss clone uprising.

I think the titles of the last two episodes kind of lay out how the battle will be structured. “Flash Strike” sounds like just the Batch infiltrating the base, scoping things out, maybe finding Omega, and transmitting Tantiss’ coordinates to Rex the moment they leave hyperspace. “The Cavalry Has Arrived” will be when Rex and his crew arrive to help, Omega probably frees all the prisoners (and maybe the Zillo) and they all try to make their escape while blowing up Tantiss in the process.
Q&A: How do you think Rampart feels, knowing the very people he swore he'd start decommissioning, he is helping, and the Empire he so loved, which turned on him, he still loves, and is tempted to turn on the people who both helped him from prison, and are clones, and not just any clones, but Clone Force 99
I forget who's video it was on, but someone brought up the question of why nobody in universe knows where Tantiss is and I totally called the explanation. I posited that there was either a rendezvous point or a hub/transfer serviced by specific craft that only operated out of Tantiss, much like the episode in Rebels with the giant kyber crystal.
Omega refuses to be the (Dinsey) princess, locked in a castle and will rescue herself (with a bit of help of course). It'll be fun to see if she gets out before the Batch gets to her!
I think the finale will be much more intense but I was still worried that Echo was going to get killed/captured in this episode but hey, that’s what makes a good show.

I have a feeling the rest of the clones are gonna show up. My guess is that Echo put a tracker on the stolen shuttle and told Rex that it would be used as a beacon to Tantiss. No way a freighter or 3 armed to take out fighters and shuttles doesn't pop out in the next episode or the finale. Personally, I'm hoping a Kappa-class shuttle shows up just so there's a shuttle for Omega and her new friends to escape in with any clones that survive. And yes, I'm fully expecting clones to die on the escape, but that's also not surprising giving the long odds they're going up against
I love how this works with Andor, all you need is an imperial uniform and act like you belong, walk in and steal stuff.
About 50% of Star Wars content involves the heroes infiltrating somewhere so it checks out.

Question, did they mention how they couldn’t put a tracker on the ship going to Tantiss or something like that and I missed it, because it seems like it would be easier, especially if they initially planned for Rex and a bigger group of Clones to eventually attack the base…
These last two episodes are like when you get near the end of a really good book, things start ramping up and chapters start getting short and punchier 🙌
I was so expecting Rampart to turn on them when they were rushing to the shuttle. He didn’t want to hitch a ride to Tantiss, surely he would be rewarded for turning in the batch (I mean, not really, but a former vice admiral can dream), and the camera didn’t show him for a hot minute. I was expecting a “wait, where’s Rampart?” line any time to ruin everything. I guess I get to be worried about it next week too!
Q&A: Do you think Rampart survives the season? If he does, what do you think his future could be as fugitive? I think he's probably a dead man walking, but the idea of Rampart making it out to scheme something of his own away from the Empire is fun to think about.
In the last few minutes before the credits rolled, I watched with bated breath and audibly said, "TOO CLOSE!" the second the stolen shuttle latched on the hull of the science ship!
This was the best episode of Bad Batch in a few weeks. Glad they found a good footing of tone and pace again. Am I the only one that isn’t seeing the show in the Home Screen reel when I open Disney+ on my TV anymore? It’s weird. I watch every Star Wars show faithfully but, for the last 2 or 3 weeks, Bad Batch is not in the Home Screen reminders for me - even on Wednesdays. Made me think they were kinda giving up on it before they close it out.

This was so dumb. Two weeks ago Crosshair had the chance to put a tracker on a ship heading for Tantiss, it seems this is not an option this week? This should have been explained why, at least a bit.
There was no way for Echo to get back to the shuttle in time after placing a tracker on the ship going to Tantiss.
@@mjjfilms4597 In time? There's no pressure in time with a tracker. Remember: the batch did not even had a ship when crosshair attempted to shoot a tracker onto the assassin's ship on Pabu.

I was hoping that rex and his team would be a part of the siege of tactics but beginning to doubt it. Maybe a spin off of his team to close loose end like wolffe joining them, why he stops fighting the empire and what has happened to Cody (maybe the assassin) a lot has been set up with his group
Personally hoping that if an invasion on tantis is executed, that they will play the background theme of dominos squad final test ‘once more into the breach’ , which is pretty close to ep 13 title - into the breach.
Absolutely love the omega as the leader of a prison break out. She’s fantastic and her character growth has been fantastic watch

Omega is such a boss in this ep. The final moments had me super tense. Also lots of great humorous moments in there. Loved it.
Stripping the paint from their armor answered a little question I had about the Batch. Wondering if the armor was white, totally covered in paint, or black/grey with little bits of paint. Now I know.
Is it just me that was a little frustrated that it was so easy to get RIGHT UP ON the imperial tech shuttle before attaching without anyone noticing?

Idk why but have a feeling that Rampart may die in the final episodes, because seeing that he was with the bad when jumping into hyperspace... to Tantiss, and rewatching the final season trailer SW released some days ago, I didn't see Rampart in the jungle shootout (following that the stolen ship got damaged on Tantiss). I don't understand why I'm worried about him, but I'm glad he helped the batch.

Listen, I’ve been loving the journey of this season, however I do hope that the final two episodes of this entire series are longer and more fleshed out. Idk if anywhere online it has been reported what the runtimes are but we are in the final stretch. It was always going to end on Tantis so I am just hoping that this ending is satisfying.
I have higher hopes now actually. I was worried we would only get them all on Tantiss during the finale. But now we will get two episodes of them all on Tantiss. Infiltrating next week and hopefully some of them escaping and causing the clone uprising in the finale
The run times for last weeks and episode 14 were supposedly revealed but last weeks was wrong so I’m hoping this weeks is wrong too.

I thought they were painting their armor all black at first, nope, it’s just no more paint on their armor. Wrecker’s helmet without that iconic paint job doesn’t look right to me 😢

Feels to me like Disney+ has given up on this series. I watch every week, but I don’t get “stream the new episode” or see it in my recommendations. It’s burried somewhere.
Glad this series is almost over.
I wasn't a big fan of the first season but the more it kept going it became better. The last season is one of the best Star Wars ever and and I can't wait to see how they're going to wrap up the story. Its both good and bad when quality tv shows end with only 3 seasons.

The Skywalker saga is returning to theaters for a 9 movie marathon on may the 4th
However brief, the moment Hunter takes to examine his stripped helmet in his hands felt so heavy to me. The Batch is ready to go any lengths to rescue Omega, as well as their clone brothers that they used to look down on. Even so far as to sacrifice their own individuality represented by their paint marked armor. Such a quietly passed, but ultimately effective message in the episode.
"Negative" is one of the hardest moments in all of Star Wars
