Magus of the Library is an incredible series, so happy to see it in someone's collection! Re: undead unluck, I didn't much like the beginning either but I think it gets a lot better and I'm quite intrigued and enjoying it. My April was mostly spent slowly patching together more of various series I'm collecting, mostly ass class, sacrificial Princess, children of the Whales, hanako-kun, and Noragami 😎
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Magus and Unlock. Sounds like you had a pretty intriguing haul. I have been on the fence about picking up Children of the whales. I might need to look more into it.
The literal gasp that escaped me when my local HPB had a copy of Queen's Quality vol 2 for actual half retail price! I never grabbed something so quickly. (The same thing happened for me for other elusive volumes in my collection: vol 3 of Requiem of the Rose King, vol 16 of Skip Beat, vol 9 Kimi ni Todoke) The manga gods have been kind, I hope you get your volume of QQ vol 2 soon 🙌 I can't recommend Magus of the Library enough!! The world building and character interactions are sublime and the detail in art is incredibly rich. It's such an emotional tale. I picked it up on a lark and have zero regrets. I really hope we get the art book for Blue Period 💙 I saw a display copy at Kinokuniya and it was beautiful and looked very informative as it included many actual famous art pieces. I almost purchased it, but I'm holding out for an English print. Love love love Remarried 🎉 Empress 🎉
Aww! I am so happy you were able to find those volumes you needed at HPB. The manga gods have been very kind to you indeed haha. Sounds like we have some similar taste. I also holding out for an English release of the Blue Period Art book. I need to go to kinokuniya and check out the art book myself.
@@GeeksThatParent the cover is perfect, with Yaguchi in anguish. A perfect call back to Picasso. Great haul btw, really appreciate your variety and unflinching willingness to go beyond demographics.
@@GeeksThatParent I'm going for a full shonen jump set so I knew I was going to get it. Didn't know until reading it that it's made by the same guy who did Assisnation Classroom and I loved that one too!
Oh my gosh I didnt realize vol 18 of hinamatsuri was already out. I thought it was end of May haha. It only has 19 volumes so we are reaching the end :')
Zom 100 I feel has been up and down a lot honestly. The one off chapters are fun but they really need some longer stories as the few that there are always are the best content the series has to offer. Even the short stint in the Hotel was great, but it needs more of those.

Magus definitely needs more attention! It's world building is exquisite and the character interactions are sublime!
Season 4 waking the dragons definitely should’ve been a manga! Also my favorite!
Glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed season 4 haha!

Wow that's a lot of manga! Nice manga haul!
Thank you Colby!
Elusive samurai! I just got volume 6. I’ve never found myself excited to get to the back pages of a manga! Great vid 🔥
Thank you! I really appreciate the additional attention to detail in Elusive Samurai
I’ve been enjoying The Elusive Samurai a lot! Yorishige is my favorite character so far!
It’s such a fun adventure! I’m surprised not as many people are excited about it

Hinamatsuri seems to always release up to a month early. Thank you for letting me how many volumes are left.

Interesting! Are you fully caught up with the series?
🐐 ed vid. :)
