I just bought the first box set for one piece. Everything is present but there seems to be enough space to fit 2-3 more books. Is this common? Every other image I’ve seen doesn’t seem to have that extra space present. New manga reader so just curious if this is your experience.

I've been hearing this same story from so many friends and its been so upsetting and frustrating! I was just about to say how I'm shocked you didn't cancel your order because I don't know anyone who waited that long, but using that that coupon code would make me hesitant too! I no longer use CrunchyRoll because earlier this year I literally canceled an order AT LEAST three times and every time they said they canceled it (I even had the emails showing the confirmation), just for something to ship the next day and no offer to return the items (since I had bought them elsewhere assuming my order was finally canceled) 😭 The people I talked to in those emails were always super kind, but I still to this day don't know what happened and have since been buying elsewhere. So true that CR will never be RS again, as hard as it is to admit!

I am so sorry!! But I AM glad that it finally got sorted out. I tend to buy my manga from my local bookstore. (though I haven't bought any new manga for months now.)

I had a bad experience with their customer support recently too. I ordered blu ray's from them and they sent me fakes. The return process from them is archaic and in my opinion the website is very anti consumer. There isn't a return option when you select customer support. Instead you have to navigate through their poorly designed UI to open a ticket. Then once you've found it they ask for the specific order number of the items you bought, which is 100% in their system but they still ask you anyway to make it more of a hassle. After 13 emails, sending them detailed pictures describing my complaints, and 2 weeks later and getting of trying to convince them that they sent me fakes, I was able to finally ship them back. Even if they weren't fake blu rays, if an item is damaged or for literally any reason, you should be able to send them back no questions asked. If a company offer refunds and you are within their given refund time period it should be easy to return. I still haven't recieved my refund 2 1/2 weeks after the 5 business days they said they would refund my credit card. Guess ill have to email them again. Needless to say i'm never buying from them again and I hope others use this video as a warning when dealing with them. Another thing I forgot to mention, is midway through the process of talking with them through email, they passed me around to a specialist. If I wasn't talking to someone who could help me with a simple return in the first place, why send me to a new person who asked the same exact questions I already answered. Anyways... I wholeheartedly agree that the best way to act with anyone is with respect. But it does get tiring when you are the only one giving it. If they cared about my order they would have just given me the return address immediately, and refunded my card within their 5 business days. If anyone at crunchy management reads this, instead of making people open tickets just follow suit with amazon's return policy with their ease of access return button. You might lose profit in some cases but you at least won't be wasting resources on the customer support team for serious issues. Sorry rant over! Lol

I've gotta say, Barnes & Noble takes the prize for preorders-IMO. If you have a membership (10%) and wait until they have their 25% off preorder sale their prices are reasonable. Plus you earn points. I also love how they ship the preorders as they get them.

yeah but the manga kind of makes sterotypes of asocial people for example in the second volume the friend that has been allowed actually makes jokes about herself like ım a loyal dog (doesnt see her self enough for komi) is kind of a downgrade for me. I just have read the first two volumes. But ı think that series is not that soft. There are also some sexual jokes like ı just went my underpants wet and a ridicoulous attemp of harresment (these two takes in the first volume ı think or the second?) I dont know for adults and young adults its that cozy but for children who are under 13 ı dont think that its that cozy. But thank you for sharing your experiences with us!

Can you make a video showing the quality of the manga you got from crunchyroll? I price compared hxh and it is cheaper through crunchyroll vs amazon sets. I am sketched by the prices on crunchyroll and wonder if the quality is less to keep up with the pricing.

The artist for that series has recently got fired for Tax Evasion so the writer will likely have a new artist for the series, so if you notice the art change it most likely be because of that. I dont think a new artist has been recuited yet so Apothecary Dairies might go into a small hiatus until the writer find a replacement.

I think if your daughters found Snow White with the Red Hair boring, then I think they'd like Yona of the Dawn instead. I also got bored with Snow White, despite being much older because the plot is pretty slow moving and there's a lot of dialogue heavy chapters while I feel like Yona is easier on that regard.

All I picked up was the sixth volume of Mo Dao Zu Shi/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation manhua/comic and the art book/photo book for The Untamed (the drama series that’s available on Netflix). Great haul and video as well.

The English version of this manga, is there any censorship by Viz? Or it's the same as the Japanese version????

Great video! The way you show and talk about volumes (with minimum to no spoilers too for your hauls which has been very appreciated) is so refreshing, helpful, and nice to listen to. I look forward to seeing more hauls, reviews, and more! Also to chime in briefly, I love Snow White with the Red Hair and though I haven’t gotten far enough to see more of the political side which I’ve heard of, I definitely think you should consider trying to get your daughters back into it to see if now their opinion on it could change.

For Snow White with the Red Hair, I loved the series personally in the beginning but lately within the last several volumes they've been less about the romance and more about the politics in the characters world. In the beginning, it was heavily focused on Shirayuki and Zen's relationship and their friendship with Kiki, Mitsuhide, and Obi which was great. I loved them but within the last several volumes the group of characters I had fallen in love with has been separated for one reason or another. Which I personally find frustrating cause I want these characters to be together and interact but I just keep getting little bits of crumbs lately of their interactions and that's it. I came into this series expecting friendship, romance, and some action. Not it's current hyper fixation on politics and world building and throwing in new characters I don't care about. I wouldn't mind the additional focus on politics was done sprinkles or short bouts but it hasn't. Instead it's just a constant stream of politics from one situation to another. Or at least that's how it felt to me lately. The hyper focus on politics and action the series seemed to have taken had caught me by surprise and so I haven't really enjoyed it as much as before. Especially since, I find politics to be kind of boring. Or at least, I haven't found their world's politics interesting. Although the only series' politics I have been able to find interesting is Bookworm so I'm also picky when it comes to that. But ya, can't really say I'm surprised your daughters got bored of it.

I been really thinking about this as well. I feel like I try to chance the next new thing. Always seeing what I can find new. I mean I don’t only do it with manga. Even with shows on streaming sites. I have so many saved in my watch list yet I keep searching for a new one. I actually unhauled this year for the first time. I unhauled only around 50 volumes but still a lot for me. I been making a TBR and trying to read more. With my TBR I can only buy the volumes I am missing in a series I already started. I keep my complete series and my incomplete series separate so my goal is to complete the series I already started. Great video!!!
