Was using mine only yesterday and my studio is built around it. Does what it claims without glitches and never stops for three hours to update its operating system. Fabulous machine. Owned from new.
Hi from Spain! Have you got any copy of the CD-ROM that comes with the device to download? I bought a second hand one and the owner doesn't have got the CD. Thank you.
Yeah there are several Japanese shops that will ship cheaply or free, you just go to eBay and search for the pedal you want, then choose “worldwide” for your search. Scroll down and you’ll find one. “Samuraimart-auction” is a good example.
I have mrs8 small version. Pretty neat maschine but I jave two major complaints. 1: when you do a loop its not seamless, you get a big gap between end and start - makes it useless for practicing or building compositions. 2: when I bounce 4 tracks to stereo I hear the loss of dynamics and degradtion. It should not be the case as this thing is digital. Strange
You can do multiple tracks if it's audio from the keyboard. If you mean recording midi data it's a lot more tricky, but I guess it's possible in theory.
I have an old Zoom digital 4 track recorder that that uses an sd card . The problem is the format it uses on the tracks is proprietary and is not recognized by my Windows laptop or my Chromebook . So it sits collecting dust .
Is that the MRS-4? I run the output of mine into a £15 audio-to-USB interface and straight to Audacity. Still find it better and easier to use for recording than proprietary interfaces.

Yes it’s hard to ignore the rock-solidness of dedicated multi track recorders.

No, sorry - but there's probably a facebook group for the 1608, or Zoom recorders generally, someone there might have it.
Hello gearfacts , I remember years ago you bought a pedal from japan, do you remember which shop does international shipping?

Good points to consider for anyone looking at buying one of these. Thank you
Can you record multiple tracks with the midi keyboard or only one?

Could a 4 track tascam record it's sound, allowing you to then transfer the track to windows?
Nice unit, but, ugh!, another manual to read!
Yep and it’s a big ‘un :(
