I agree. They focus more on the guest stars. When the audience improvises, the cast makes it funny, and makes fun of them. Like in helping hands, the guest star suggests what Ryan and Colin do next.
@Lannuz Completely agree about Drew. He was definitely the best host for me as he got the balance perfect. He's not quite as quick witted as Clive, but Clive's humour was a bit too sneery for me and it didn't fit the warm feel of the show. Drew's banter was warmer, and he's much better at it than Aisha - and she joins in too much and is very loud and OTT. Drew joins in just enough on WLIIA (more than Clive, less than Aisha) and does it more subtly than Aisha and with cleverer humour.

It's interesting, this actually feels like people improvising as in Whose Line, when I was a kid, the jokes were so good I thought it just had to be scripted and they were just lying. I suppose they trim A LOT of fat in WL, use choice clips only, sometimes re-do bits, they have a stage director, editors...now I finally understand
