Actually, the order is backwards. Diona received the fairy's blessing long before her hatred for wine, and it's less specific to wine and more any drink she makes - the only reason this even ended up being an issue is because Diona actively tries to make terrible drinks, instead of just not making them.

Keqing believing that the humans can survive without the help of the adepti and rex lapiz (which is sort of contrary to li yue's strong belief and whatnot). Razor is a man literally raised by wolves. Fischl has her chuunibyo thing going on. Lisa is basically super strong but chooses to lay low because she just doesnt feel like it.

Maybe the Pyro Archon gives Vision to lonely people. While I don’t know much of Xiangling and Xinyan’s story, it seems like the people with the pyro archon are lonely. Diluc, Bennett, Klee and Amber are either the sole survivor of their clan or outcasts. It’s kinda interesting now that I realize that pattern...

Kaeya and Diluc's backstory is so sad hhhh I've known it since October and it still never fails to make me sad :'] just apologize to each other and be brothers again
i mean as someone who also has major sibling problems it gets difficult to feel like siblings after a serious uproar, so i really admire mihoyo's approach to not make the resolve as easy as "im sorry" because there is no clear solution to mend diluc and kaeya's connection with each other. maybe they're not fated to be family anymore, who knows lmao
Since they made the whole backstory before the actual story in the game then it's safe to say they'll solve their problems eventually. Maybe not to the point of being as close as before but at least to the point where they call each other "brother" again and admit they're family in public.
While it's not explicitly said, it's believed that the knights fear for Noelle's safety if she ever becomes one. She doesn't seem to grasp the concept of restraint and will push herself over the limit if it means she can help people. The knights don't wanna see her die for something stupid so they let her be a maid and occupy Noelle with menial stuff. But this could also mean why she never gets promoted you know, maybe it's part of a psychological test that she fails. As to why Klee is a knight? No idea.
@@pv8780 I don't believe the reason that she unable to restrain herself. Like if they really wanted her to stop, ask Jean to tell her to stop. Noelle will listen, since Noelle idolize Jean and Jean is the most influential person in Noelle life. Most of the thing she do it she does it because she think it would help her become a knight, so she does all the work and help all those that she can even when it overworking her to the point of death, so she can have that Knight of Favonius quality. But through all of he hard work training etc... and over presumingly 8+ years she still unable to achieve it due to Knight think she will over work till her eventually die. (8 year, because knight initiative is probably a yearly basis so 7 times fail equal 7 years, plus current year and 1 or 2 years when she first join up) Because of that thinking it had backfire against them, since it had been around 8 years or so, someone like Noelle would kept thinking that she lack something and will continue to do whatever she can to had that Knight of Favonius quality with she does and evidently shown in her hangout event. This kind of thinking would usually hurt the one that they trying to protect more then doing so. The incident on Dragonspine probably said it best, since the knight wasn't willing to save the adventurer up there. She tooked upon herself to do it and to prove her knighthood to everyone so she can finally become one. Which we know also massive backfire and cycle continue. Knighting her would cut the maid work that she had to do everyday since she isn't maid anymore (till leftover maid asked her for help), so the only job she have (if Jean still worry too much about her) will only be to patrolling the city and nearby area and help citizens of Mondstadt that in need of help. Like every knight duty to do so. Heck, just make Noelle Jean personal assistant like Ganyu and Ningguang does and all her problem will be gone.

All Anemo has a concept of doubt of their own ability surrounding them. Sucrose doubt of her own research, Jean doubt of her ability as the Acting Grand Master, Venti doubt of her strength as an Archon, and Xiao doubt of being able to held his pwn corruption that befell his fellow Yaksha. •Geo for those who are diligent to achieve their goals. Most Geo characters are hardworking or follow a strict conduct. Noelle diligence to be a knight, Albedo diligence in his research, Ningguang diligence to earn more mora, and Zhong Li diligence to follow all his contract •Cryo for those who are conflicted on the path they have chosen. Unlike the doubt which most anemo characters have in their own ability, cryo characters often have trust on their capabilities however they don't know if they are taking the right path. I have a feeling Ayaka would be conflicted in her Archon's plan and Rosario which is a vampire working in a church. •Electro for those who are calm and sensible even in difficult situations. All electro characters are level headed people even with their unique quirks. Lisa was the most calm individual during the whole Dvalin arc, Razor who is sensible even in his anger, Keqing who is indifferent on the death of Morax, Fischl unique quirks which make her able to see beyond what normal often sees, and Beidou who calmly fought against a sea monster. •Hydro for those who cares for something or someone. Most Hydro has something that they want to protect or they held dearly. Barbara who wants to protect everyone in Mondstat, Xinqui who held a huge self esteem for his clan, and Childe who greatly loves his family than his seek for strength. I am not sure with Mona though it might be because she dearly love Astronomy but she is not diligent enough because she always get side tracked because of lack of moral or not to passionate enough for the pyro archon. The Traveler who shown all the aforementioned trait Hydro: The Traveler has shown how he dearly care for his/her sibling. Anemo: doubt of his/her strength to find his/her missing sibling. Cryo: Conflicted on what path he/she need to take. Pyro: Passionate in his/her desire Geo: Diligence to reach his goals. Electro: Level headed in all situation

A lot of these characters have really compelling stories. It’s cool. I wonder how it’s decided which elements they are given when they earn their visions.
Well I can give you an example for Kaeya and Diluc. The Pyro archon gives its power to those who are reliable and have passion. Diluc *is* reliable, and he has passion for protecting Mondstadt. The Cryo Archon gives its power to those who need love, those who are alone. (lol basically she just gives it to those who r depressed) Kaeya's brother almost killed him, his real father abandoned him, his foster father dead, and his homeland, Khaen'riah, doesn't even know he's alive. This makes me cry 😭
@@nidhidodiya3297 to add to this (of what I know plus me stretching out some things lol) Murata (pyro archon) seems to give a pyro vision those with fiery spirits(Klee) or a goal in mind in which they will achieve no matter what (Diluc and xiangling) and as for Tsaritsa(?) The cryo archon she seems to give a cryo visions to those who as you said NEED love or those who will do whatever for those they love an example being: diona has the unrealistic dream of destroying the alcohol industry because she thinks her dad got lost because he was drunk, even though I'm pretty sure he was just stuck in a snowstorm I've also thought up of reasons for all the other archons but then this would be longer lol
The hydro characters are actually also passionate too, but compared to the Pyro archon, the hydro archon chooses those of which who would die doing what they love instead of beating to a pulp anyone who tries to stop them

Think about childe's constant strive to attain more power and to be the strongest always and joining the harbingers in order to achieve that, and xingqiu's determination and ambition in reviving the guhua clan despite already being semi tied down to the feiyun guild. or even barbara wanting to be an idol while already being part of the church, and mona with her own commitment to her job as an astrologist and her constant seeking towards the stars even tho its a very low paying job that cant even pay for her own meals at times. While pyro users have a passion to protect what they love or believe in, hydro users probably have the constant drive to succeed in what they believe in ((of course this is just my own interpretation!! if genshin ever reveals more info about visions that would be super interesting and cool ))

About Anemo vision holders, I'd hazard a guess its not about doubt, but sacrificing own freedom or power for greater good: Sucrose dedicated herself so much into research, she can't stand "having a day off" anymore Jean extraordinary efforts to fill into the shoes of Grand Master and carrying out these tasks marvelously for sake of Mondstadt Xiao - we don't know if supernatural beings follow the same rules of obtaining Visions like mortals do, but I'd guess not, otherwise all other Yakshas would be Anemo, as volunteers for thankless and dangerous task Venti - after witnessing previous Anemo archon being a tyrant, he sacrificed own power as a god and he selects mortals who walk on his path as Vision holders If game will introduce new Anemo/Geo/whatever archon, odds are we will see shift in "common trait" among new Vision holders of these elements, based on principles of new archons.

Cause every playable character has a vision and in order to get a vision you have to “prove yourself”/get the respect of one of the gods. And impressing a god isn’t something that’s easy to do lol

I just hate how nerfed everyone is in the game compared to the manga. Take chongyun for instance. He heard there was a ghost up on dragonspine. So he instantly dropped what he was doing and ran all the way up never stopping once. He couldn’t find it so he decided to wait. The mad lad jumped into a freezing lake and waited there for two whole days for it to show up. And Amber. She can summon flames on command. Make fire shields and detonate baron bunny remotely. Not just on a timer. Kaeya. Dude can make ice contructs to fight for him and never has to lift a finger to fight his battles. QiQi quite literally uses the cold to keep herself alive. How does she freeze up on dragonspine?? Oh yeah let’s not forget noelle. Not sure how she can’t pass the trails. The reason she uses a greatsword is because she’s too strong. Normal smaller sword break after one use because they can hold up to her powerful strikes.
In game amber can also detonate baron bunny! It comes with her constellation I believe. I also suspect that they couldn't create special mechanics for certain characters in Dragonspine because then people would just switch to those characters in order to stop sheer cold.
@@moonstone3054 yeah but I feel special mechanics would be nice. Like any cryo characters have slower build up on the mountain. Or adeptus characters have boosted stats in jueyun karst. You know? Just buff them with a few tweaks here and there. Nothing major. Just things that are callbacks to their lore.
I will never forget Kaeya and Diluc’s past. Such a tragedy. I wish they still had the relationship they has when they were younger. They basically could have been the strongest duo in Mondstadt.
I have this theory that the Electro Archon gives visions to those who have been close to death or in a situation that could’ve or did put their life in danger Beidou got hers after slaying a monster, Razor was almost kidnapped, possibly even killed, by a hydro mage) seeing how the Electro Archon is the god of immortality This theory is flimsy however since sometimes visions are given out of nowhere, like how Fischl got hers by crying in a library
My theory is that electro visokns are granted to those who oppose the status quo Example: Beidou being a pirate Keqing not liking rex lapis's old laws Razor being an outcast
Razor got his to protect his Lupica(?) and himself, Lisa notices a life to pursuit knowlegde that is infinite is worthless if not lived, Beidou had to turn her situation around in battle, fischl had her (fantasy) world shattered, keqing pretty much was ready and willing to change the world’s perspective on her own if needed ...hm, its a stretch, but all those I would say that somehow had “their lives flash in front of their eyes” , a near death experience or reconsideration of living in a bad situation of sorts
I keep wondering why Varka took the cavalry...and not the literal cavalry captain?? My guess is that he doesn’t really trust Kaeya and/or wanted to screw with him
I feel like there’s such a wide scope of effort that goes into getting a vision. Bennet has orphaned, raised by adventurers, went on a huge journey, almost died, and then got his vision. Lisa just kinda wanted one and got it lol.
i feel like water visions are given to devoted followers - mona dedicated all of herself to astrology as well as protecting her teacher’s reputation, childe is devoted to his family and tsaritsa, xingqiu - devotion to rebirthing the guhua clan, barbara - her church and also living up to jean’s legacy. although i feel like that way jean could also be granted a hydro vision.
Bennett literally a normal ass boy with normal capability in the story, a god support in the game. Amber a skilled and lovable archer with some badass attitude, beating out a Hilichurl camp with a rock and her kick plus somme vision power, worst character in the game whether talking about she being support or DPS. Lisa, the most talented of her top tier academic said to be the brightest in 200 years, has the worst kit in the game and make her hard to actually utilize. WHAT THE FUCK, MIHOYO.
@@thereza3 About Lisa tho, as much as it pains me to say, her kit being so clunky and so hard to utilize make a lot of players don't want to use her which actually stay true to her story. you know, trying to hide her talent so she can being lazy, but man she needs either a rework or some amount of buff. Maybe both to be honest.
The most interesting part is how everyone gets their Vision. As far as i can understand, the Vision is like a battery that powers up either someone's innate abilities or gives them skills based on their necessities. Or at least that's how i explain Klee being able to infuse explosives instead of tossing actual fire, Barbara's exceptional healing, and Fischl creating Life out of a book... unless the Electro Archon made Oz that is. It will be fun to try and create a pattern to understand why do certain Archon's favor certain people. As far as i could pick up so far: Pyro Archon favors people that are passionate over something. Electro helps those that went through some bad experiences and need a push. Hydro seems to like "Good people"... and Childe. Geo seems to like those that follow their goals. Anemo, idk honestly. I don't picture the Cryo Archon as a reasonable person so idk why would they bless random people from around the nations. And we haven't really seen a Dendro user, there's the dude that takes care of QiQi but he barely said anything about himself.
Childe technically doing bad things for protecting his family and his brother so technically he is a good people but been forced to be bad guy till a battle addict
Anemo is probably for people who deserves freedom like Xiao who's bound to his karma, Jean who always busy and overwork herself, or Sucrose who dedicate her life to study alchemy and forgets to take care of herself instead. Since the Hydro Archon is the god of justice, i think the Archon gave visions to people who have a strong sense of justice? Childe's love towards his family is very strong even though he's kinda 'bad' and he'd do anything to protect his family. Cryo is probably for people who don't really experience love since the Tsaritsa is the god of love
I think hydro favours those with strict principles. Principles that they would go extremely great lengths to uphold. Childe would go great lengths for his family and the Tsaritsa. Mona would never abuse astrology or try to profit from it. Not sure about Barbara tho
Oz isn't the character from her book brought to life. While he is indeed brought to life by her vision, if you speak to him in Fischl's Profile under "Fischl's Hobbies" he explains that he was simply named after the character in the book. Considering that he sighs when he reveals this, it's suggested that Oz actually dislikes the name he was given, at least to some degree.

I don’t know why I always cry when I hear Noelle’s story. The hardwork. The selflessness. And imagine failing 7 times to be a night and finally gave up because of exhaustion, this applies in real life. There are people who will really test you, let you fail but be patient as it’ll all pay off. BIIIIIITTTCH mihoyo should reveal that she really is an archon. I just cant.

After seeing this, the entirety of the Dragonspine Albedo quest makes so much sense. When he says something along the lines “if I do something terrible, will you have the strength to stop me?” I always wondered what he meant by that and it stuck with me. Knowing now that he has ties to Khaenriah and may one day turn traitor is a little heartbreaking. I really enjoy Albedo, his abilities, and his personality. Would hate to see him on the dark side one day.
I read your comment, and one thought crossed my mind. What if originally Mona decided to study astrology in order to find her parents? We know literally nothing about her family, except for her teacher, whom she dislikes, as I suppose. There can be some mystery in her family tree, and her astrology ability, as I believe, is not so common, because Scaramuche was actually surprised when Mona figured out his identity.
I'm not the only one who thought Diluc was "Batman-like" right? (Also awesome work compiling all of these together, the lore in this game is crazy good at least that's what I think)

@chuuwu that’s like saying Agent Ward (if you know AoS show) or Ruby (if you know Supernatural show) are also “anti-heroes”. Those are definitely villains btw, even if they “helped” main heroes at some point. But we’ll see. So far, he appears as villain and not trustworthy to me even before I knew his story. Perhaps he’ll do the switch tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@lightefilit Actually Kaeya gave up the role of being a double agent. He now focuses on being a Knight for the city that actually accepts him instead of using him as a tool.
I like the lesson that receiving a vision is more about having a goal to strive for despite not having power instead of the pursuit for power. Most the characters don't even care if they have one or not, but admit to it making things easier

While it's not explicitly said, it's believed that the knights fear for Noelle's safety if she ever becomes one. She doesn't seem to grasp the concept of restraint and will push herself over the limit if it means she can help people. The knights don't wanna see her die for something stupid so they let her be a maid and occupy Noelle with menial stuff.
But this could also mean why she never gets promoted you know, maybe it's part of a psychological test that she fails.
As to why Klee is a knight? No idea.

Most of the thing she do it she does it because she think it would help her become a knight, so she does all the work and help all those that she can even when it overworking her to the point of death, so she can have that Knight of Favonius quality. But through all of he hard work training etc... and over presumingly 8+ years she still unable to achieve it due to Knight think she will over work till her eventually die.
(8 year, because knight initiative is probably a yearly basis so 7 times fail equal 7 years, plus current year and 1 or 2 years when she first join up)
Because of that thinking it had backfire against them, since it had been around 8 years or so, someone like Noelle would kept thinking that she lack something and will continue to do whatever she can to had that Knight of Favonius quality with she does and evidently shown in her hangout event.
This kind of thinking would usually hurt the one that they trying to protect more then doing so.
The incident on Dragonspine probably said it best, since the knight wasn't willing to save the adventurer up there. She tooked upon herself to do it and to prove her knighthood to everyone so she can finally become one. Which we know also massive backfire and cycle continue.
Knighting her would cut the maid work that she had to do everyday since she isn't maid anymore (till leftover maid asked her for help), so the only job she have (if Jean still worry too much about her) will only be to patrolling the city and nearby area and help citizens of Mondstadt that in need of help. Like every knight duty to do so.
Heck, just make Noelle Jean personal assistant like Ganyu and Ningguang does and all her problem will be gone.

Well I can give you an example for Kaeya and Diluc. The Pyro archon gives its power to those who are reliable and have passion. Diluc *is* reliable, and he has passion for protecting Mondstadt. The Cryo Archon gives its power to those who need love, those who are alone. (lol basically she just gives it to those who r depressed) Kaeya's brother almost killed him, his real father abandoned him, his foster father dead, and his homeland, Khaen'riah, doesn't even know he's alive. This makes me cry 😭

The hydro characters are actually also passionate too, but compared to the Pyro archon, the hydro archon chooses those of which who would die doing what they love instead of beating to a pulp anyone who tries to stop them

Think about childe's constant strive to attain more power and to be the strongest always and joining the harbingers in order to achieve that, and xingqiu's determination and ambition in reviving the guhua clan despite already being semi tied down to the feiyun guild. or even barbara wanting to be an idol while already being part of the church, and mona with her own commitment to her job as an astrologist and her constant seeking towards the stars even tho its a very low paying job that cant even pay for her own meals at times. About Anemo vision holders, I'd hazard a guess its not about doubt, but sacrificing own freedom or power for greater good:
Sucrose dedicated herself so much into research, she can't stand "having a day off" anymore
Jean extraordinary efforts to fill into the shoes of Grand Master and carrying out these tasks marvelously for sake of Mondstadt
Xiao - we don't know if supernatural beings follow the same rules of obtaining Visions like mortals do, but I'd guess not, otherwise all other Yakshas would be Anemo, as volunteers for thankless and dangerous task
Venti - after witnessing previous Anemo archon being a tyrant, he sacrificed own power as a god and he selects mortals who walk on his path as Vision holders
If game will introduce new Anemo/Geo/whatever archon, odds are we will see shift in "common trait" among new Vision holders of these elements, based on principles of new archons.

I just hate how nerfed everyone is in the game compared to the manga. Take chongyun for instance. He heard there was a ghost up on dragonspine. So he instantly dropped what he was doing and ran all the way up never stopping once. He couldn’t find it so he decided to wait. The mad lad jumped into a freezing lake and waited there for two whole days for it to show up. And Amber. She can summon flames on command. Make fire shields and detonate baron bunny remotely. Not just on a timer. Kaeya. Dude can make ice contructs to fight for him and never has to lift a finger to fight his battles. QiQi quite literally uses the cold to keep herself alive. How does she freeze up on dragonspine?? Oh yeah let’s not forget noelle. Not sure how she can’t pass the trails. The reason she uses a greatsword is because she’s too strong. Normal smaller sword break after one use because they can hold up to her powerful strikes.
In game amber can also detonate baron bunny! It comes with her constellation I believe. I also suspect that they couldn't create special mechanics for certain characters in Dragonspine because then people would just switch to those characters in order to stop sheer cold.

i feel like water visions are given to devoted followers - mona dedicated all of herself to astrology as well as protecting her teacher’s reputation, childe is devoted to his family and tsaritsa, xingqiu - devotion to rebirthing the guhua clan, barbara - her church and also living up to jean’s legacy. although i feel like that way jean could also be granted a hydro vision.

Bennett literally a normal ass boy with normal capability in the story, a god support in the game.
Amber a skilled and lovable archer with some badass attitude, beating out a Hilichurl camp with a rock and her kick plus somme vision power, worst character in the game whether talking about she being support or DPS.
Lisa, the most talented of her top tier academic said to be the brightest in 200 years, has the worst kit in the game and make her hard to actually utilize.

@@thereza3 About Lisa tho, as much as it pains me to say, her kit being so clunky and so hard to utilize make a lot of players don't want to use her which actually stay true to her story. you know, trying to hide her talent so she can being lazy, but man she needs either a rework or some amount of buff. Maybe both to be honest.

The most interesting part is how everyone gets their Vision.
As far as i can understand, the Vision is like a battery that powers up either someone's innate abilities or gives them skills based on their necessities. Or at least that's how i explain Klee being able to infuse explosives instead of tossing actual fire, Barbara's exceptional healing, and Fischl creating Life out of a book... unless the Electro Archon made Oz that is.
It will be fun to try and create a pattern to understand why do certain Archon's favor certain people.
As far as i could pick up so far:
Pyro Archon favors people that are passionate over something.
Electro helps those that went through some bad experiences and need a push.
Hydro seems to like "Good people"... and Childe.
Geo seems to like those that follow their goals.
Anemo, idk honestly.
I don't picture the Cryo Archon as a reasonable person so idk why would they bless random people from around the nations.
And we haven't really seen a Dendro user, there's the dude that takes care of QiQi but he barely said anything about himself.
i would say that Anemo could be protector or something ?
Childe technically doing bad things for protecting his family and his brother so technically he is a good people but been forced to be bad guy till a battle addict
Anemo is probably for people who deserves freedom like Xiao who's bound to his karma, Jean who always busy and overwork herself, or Sucrose who dedicate her life to study alchemy and forgets to take care of herself instead. Since the Hydro Archon is the god of justice, i think the Archon gave visions to people who have a strong sense of justice? Childe's love towards his family is very strong even though he's kinda 'bad' and he'd do anything to protect his family. Cryo is probably for people who don't really experience love since the Tsaritsa is the god of love
I think hydro favours those with strict principles. Principles that they would go extremely great lengths to uphold. Childe would go great lengths for his family and the Tsaritsa. Mona would never abuse astrology or try to profit from it. Not sure about Barbara tho

Oz isn't the character from her book brought to life. While he is indeed brought to life by her vision, if you speak to him in Fischl's Profile under "Fischl's Hobbies" he explains that he was simply named after the character in the book. Considering that he sighs when he reveals this, it's suggested that Oz actually dislikes the name he was given, at least to some degree.

I don’t know why I always cry when I hear Noelle’s story. The hardwork. The selflessness. And imagine failing 7 times to be a night and finally gave up because of exhaustion, this applies in real life. There are people who will really test you, let you fail but be patient as it’ll all pay off. BIIIIIITTTCH mihoyo should reveal that she really is an archon. I just cant.

After seeing this, the entirety of the Dragonspine Albedo quest makes so much sense. When he says something along the lines “if I do something terrible, will you have the strength to stop me?” I always wondered what he meant by that and it stuck with me. Knowing now that he has ties to Khaenriah and may one day turn traitor is a little heartbreaking. I really enjoy Albedo, his abilities, and his personality. Would hate to see him on the dark side one day.
Still confused about Mona. Her vision design is Mondstat, but isn’t she from Fontaine? Unless she was originally from Mondstat (which I doubt)?

I read your comment, and one thought crossed my mind. What if originally Mona decided to study astrology in order to find her parents? We know literally nothing about her family, except for her teacher, whom she dislikes, as I suppose. There can be some mystery in her family tree, and her astrology ability, as I believe, is not so common, because Scaramuche was actually surprised when Mona figured out his identity.

@chuuwu that’s like saying Agent Ward (if you know AoS show) or Ruby (if you know Supernatural show) are also “anti-heroes”. Those are definitely villains btw, even if they “helped” main heroes at some point.

I like the lesson that receiving a vision is more about having a goal to strive for despite not having power instead of the pursuit for power. Most the characters don't even care if they have one or not, but admit to it making things easier
