- In this video we visit the largest city and the former capital of Kazakhstan - Almaty. We were amazed how modern and nice city Almaty really is. And damn those mountains surrounding the city are beautiful!
We start off by taking a cable car on top of Kok-Tobe Hill. Then we eat the Central Asian horse meat noodle dish called Beshparmak. We also learn how the taxi system works in Almaty before we see the most beautiful lake ever - Big Almaty Lake!

We eat horse meat, and I would like to add some details on it: Horse that we ride... we don't eat! Horses specifically bred for eating. 🤗✌

Hi we plan to travel to Almaty in early November , how would the weather be there & do we get good vegetarian food ?
I think it will ve pretty cold that time of the year. Also not the easiest city to find vegetarian food I think. Maybe someone else knows better?
