Overall, though, Yargwynn was pretty smart. Deceiving Mortallous into leaving us and then opening a teleport/portal out of nowhere. The element of surprise, not surprised 😃

Also theory: Resper probably has seen Arkov before probably when they were little and Resper was probably in connection with Arkov’s mother, as she was also a scientist
Okay, ignore Yagwin for a bit. The creatures Resper was talking to before we came in sounded exactly like baby Callimus.
There are still baby octopoids out there! Callimus isn’t alone! One of them is called Mia!
And holy shit Resper sounded the most evil when mentioning the baby octopoids not being around forever. Like him threatening Paradise’s life didn’t even come close to the chills after, “…I’ll be sure of that.”
Imagine after all the bs is over, Paradise and Yagwin adopt the baby octopoids. They’d constantly have at least one toddler suctioned to their arm or leg at any time. Yagwin teaches them how to properly splash Paradise, ready to start a splash fight. Uncle Callimus comes over weekly and is always knocked over by a stampede of children trying to hug him first. Yagwin sometimes wind that contest for some reason but Mia claims the prize because she was smart enough to hitch a ride on dad. Overall, everyone is safe, happy and most importantly *alive* 😁

Thank ***goodness*** Heartburn's transporter kicked in just at the perfect story-telling moment! (Then again, it would've been kind of funny if we had've teleported *right* next to Yargwyn during negotiations. Less climactic and more comedic.)
I hope we didn't *forget* that old-man Yargwyn told us it'd return us right back to the teleporter after a frame of time. Mortalis isn't wrong... Yargwyn wouldn't put us into a situation like that if he didn't think he could get us back out. (If he knows what's good for him, that is.)
I do appreciate Vaihl (I'm not certain how his name is spelled, so...) and I get it. *We* are perfect strangers. He really has no reason to care about us. But it makes sense that he wants to save his brother whom he still loves as family despite how much their paths have diverged. With just a few words from Vaihl, I get the feeling that Mortalis already considers himself *bloody awful* so I imagine that's how he justifies being as terrible as he is. Already going to hell; might as well get there and have the biggest RAP sheet, no?

Ya know what screw it we talking about our physiology? Have my take on what we look like.
•Our skin is a mixture of hues, changing in certain splotches and areas as if our own DNA cannot decide what exactly we are meant to be. One day, we have golden colored patches of skin, the next a soft purple, the next possibly the rainbow. These spots are also change in texture from the overall skin (kinda like when we said the dermis i think was rigged). Their usually rough, kinda scaly
•Our hair is bouncy and curled, grown out long and somewhat tied as to not obscure our face.
•A set of wings grow out from our back WHICH IK IS RANDOM AND HAS BO REASONING BUT WE'RE A HYBRID LET ME HAVE MY FUN. The wings are golden in color, and at the beginning of our mission, they were pristinely taken care of; practically shimmering in the light and carefully combed in place. Nowadays however, their less taken care of, and have lost some of that shine and perfection. We use em for hugging the sweet Octo boy or expressing emotion better like puffing them up if we're angry
•2 small white horns stab out of our hair near the top of our head, not to large but just enough to notice they are there.
•We also have a lengthy tail, not entirely furry but tame and a straight line until the end, where it puffs up in fur. It's color is also white, but the tame line part is a black. KINDA LIKE A COW TAIL BUT NOT?? IDK
•Our eyes are a brilliant amber, filled with passion and determination. They are human looking, but still have a alien fell to them

I was re watching space pirates and found your comment and absolutely love your idea of what arkov/paradise looks like so I hope you don't mind me sharing mine
• mine has purple sploges/freckles on their face, shoulders and back
• they also have (as raspa stated) springy/ curly hair that is a very light blue but has pastel purple roots. They tied there hair up for most of the series but after raspa "cleaned them up" they cept their hair the way he did it (he tied it up in a sort of braid)
• they have long horns that aim backward they also have those purple freckles I mentioned earlier at the tips of the horns. They also have a lengthy tail however it's the same colour as their skin and looks something like a velociraptors tail as it has fur on the end of it that's the same colour as their hair.

To be honest,i'm not allowed to be on my phone right now because i have to spend my time with my my family memebers for the whole summer or should i say NEED to spend time with them because i traveld all the way from my country to another country just to see my family it's hard having family live in a country where you do not live in T_T i want to go back it's so warm here i tried going outside but oh was it even more warmer so now i'm stuck inside sweating like crazy because of the warmth here.
