Enjoy this amazing walk along the Marginal Way from Perkins Cove to Downtown Ogunquit, Maine. The coast of Maine is an amazing place. It relieves stress and seems to run at a slower speed than the rest of over stimulating world. Whether you use this video for ambient background noise, stress relief, or just a break from your day I hope you can take a quick deep breath and relax.
Ogunquit, Maine lies just a few hours north of Boston, Massachusetts and a short 10 minute drive from York Beach, Maine it is an ideal southern Maine tourist destination. Marginal Way is a scenic, winding walkway which connects the downtown & beach of Ogunquit to the community of Perkins Cove. Both rich in famous Maine seafood, art and boutiques, the town of Ogunquit is a tight knit but welcoming community for everyone who visits. Best known for it's thriving art, Ogunquit and Perkins Cove offer galleries filled with the work of world-renown artists. The scenic views are what capture tourists from all around New England and the U.S. on both Marginal Way and Ogunquit Beach.

My wife and I have been walking the Marginal Way every year on our Maine visits, and it's been great every time. Tiring, but great.

Things have changed a lot since the video. At least four of the houses have been torn down to be replaced with huge homes. Missing along the way are the iconic A frame house that was in disrepair along with the fairly new beautiful home to its left. There will be two huge new homes to replace them. The yellow brick single story home is now gone, being replaced with another huge home and the brick house next to the Anchorage, with the pink lower part is now gone and a huge home has already replaced it. Lots of damage due to the winter storms, but much work has been done with final repairs to be made this winter. Despite all of this, it is still a wonderful place to visit.
I just did another walk down marginal way that I'll be posting tomorrow. Was amazed to see how much had changed in the houses in such a short time since I was there last.

@@MileMarker4k it is! and its safe. ive taken some night shots with my DSLR camera there. i dont live there, im on the west coast lol. its fun to visit though!
I bet that makes for some really amazing shots. Definitely going to see how it comes out on my cameras lol they aren't great in the dark. Worth it regardless to experience it!

Me and my camera have a lot in common (bad dad joke!) 😂 but it is such a beautiful spot. Losing camera focus sounds like a great excuse to have to go back and walk it again! oh shucks!
