some of them stand on their own and you dont need to attach to a wall
If you build shelves, instead of nailing them, plane the bottom of the shelves at an angle so they naturally lean against the wall. This as well as the stuff you put on them will make them stable.

Well… I was procrastinating getting out of bed, taking the dog out and many other things but the music!!! OMG- first I found it annoying, then I became amused by it, then I realized I HAD to get out of bed as soon as the video ended! Thanks! Loved all the book case ideas. The tower and particularly the invisible ones are first on the list.

Oh, one tip: To cut the stock lengthwise, you could clamp on a 1" x 6" as a guide or maybe a long piece of aluminum. 5:11

U just showed to keep hand full books I'm talking about a proper 100+ book shelf, seriously u waisted my lots of time, i think i need a 3x6 ft playwood a cutter and some screw and screw driver set some angles and two cup of hot dark coffee, i bet not only it will accommodate all books, also i will look stunning.
