Hi Bro, I am a Senior Citizen and very much fond of travelling here and there - I am an amateur photographer but love to click enough photos & videos during my travel - At the time of buying Nikon Coolpix B500 Camera the shop from where I purchased it, they adjusted it at AUTO MODE and from there on for last five or six years I am using it without any problem - But recently during my last two tours I am observing that while taking some snaps or doing some videos, it is somehow getting dark and according to my opinion it require to increase brightness ( mainly where I am objecting someones face ) - Please help me and give me a suitable & easy suggestion ( I am not so much tech savvy ) so that I may shoot some good quality photos & videos as before during my ongoing tour which is very near by - Sorry for the trouble and seriously need your help - Thank you and eagerly waiting for your reply to make the problem solved.
The digital zoom can be turned on or off in the settings and you can use it while shooting a video. I won't recommend using it because it degrades video quality.

No you cannot do that. I tried but the camera would not turn on with power bank.

If the subject is stable then the video will be in focus while zooming in or out.
