MAJOR tip: Make sure they tell you their name instead of asking if it's them. I had to learn it the hard way and gave food to the wrong person.
I did 3800 orders now and i never had problems with asking their name first, but ofcourse asking them is safer.
@@Lambo_567how are you guys getting so many orders in??? LOL! I get no orders coming through on my phone. The app did say I have to be near the restaurant to maximize my chance of getting an order. And, it has to be places that receive uber eats orders.
The knock at the pick-up window 👍 lol. I would've lowkey been mad especially with the food being ready and just sitting there on the rack.
The Chipotle pick up window at that location has a reputation for being ignored. Heard its best to go inside for quicker pick up.

Whaaaaaaat!!! there is a Taco Bell on Hollywood… I literally live like a 10 drive from there. PLUS ITS BEEN YEARS I HAVENT WALKED AROUND THERE. TOO MANY HOMELESS AND THE STREETS ARE NOT THE SAME. LOL. Awesome video dude.😅

Everywhere seems like 1/2 miles in each direction for restaurant and delivery tbh IMO
It’s kind of rare to see them around, not too many of them. Though there is a meetup group I noticed for bromptons bikers here.

Yo bro you still do uber eats?? I dont see many places on the map where I live. Im not far away from Ventura Blvd. Ventura is close to the street you was on in this video. I think it’s Sunset Blvd right? Its strange I never been on sunset. I been on the other outside strip mall(Ventura Blvd). Sunset is also a spot in Gta5. The stars are on the ground in the game as well.

hey dude, been watching your videos lately and love them! one thing still bugs me though - how can all the orders be less than a mile and is the distance paid only from resto to client? Im asking because I dont have uberEats in my country but there are 3 other apps and they all show full distance and pay before accepting.
also, crazy tips in US, I only get like maybe 10€ a week in tips :D base fee seems to be similar to yours, usually I get 3-5€ per order and whole order distance is 1.5-4km
Yes you only get paid from restaurant to customer. Maybe he gets pinged for further distances but doesn't show us as he rejects them?
What front bag do you have? Sorry if you mentioned it somewhere and I just missed it.
I have the Brompton C-Bag. I got it a couple years ago, the particular version I have has been discontinued but there are newer versions of this bag but I notice the interior of those bags have become smaller.
Is it normal to get into the restaurants with your bike? How many bikes are there in the restaurants with all deliveries every hour… why not leave your bike outside?

Every state/city county in US has different tax rates. In LA it's 9.5%, however we don't have tax for grocery items.

Part time, I have a FT job so I just do this sparingly.

Lmao y didn’t u just go into chipotle? U go into every other restaurant with your bike. They probably thought u were a random just standing there. Or knock on the window.
That particular Chipotle store has a sign next to the window 'For Pick Up Deliveries Only'.. if you go in the store and try to pick it up in there, they tell you to pick it up by the delivery window and if its not ready to wait there with the rest of the delivery people for your order. This particular store is very busy and some other delivery people have said they've waited as long as 30 mins. there just to get their order.
What about calling the customer 2 minutes from the drop off?
As someone who orders Ubereats a lot, this would get really annoying haha
Why do u only work 1 hour? If u can make that much money keep working like 5 hours
I only do this very sparingly like 1-2 hr at most on some free days.. I don’t do this as work or a job since I already have a full time job, its more like recreation, exercise, and exploring more of the city... I normally bike a lot so figured why not do deliveries & make content at the same time.
