My Depression Story: How I Overcame the Darkness

A diagnosis of major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder left Grace with more questions than answers. As she sought freedom from the darkness - she found hope that God is not afraid of hard questions or struggles with mental health.

Do you know the Lord as Saviour or are you just participating in church activities? I ask because I have been diagnosed with clinical depression as well and I find that this is my first very great help and that He leads me into healing every time I have an episode. So, let's do the first thing first trust Jesus as Lord and Saviour and He will lead us in every way as we stay very close to Him in this, and even when medicine was not helping me, God stepped and me. So please people always put God first.

As true as that might be there are many people in the bible who dealted with depression, torment and sickness. We don't always know why God allows it but he does things his way.
