Professor Shlaim, as a Jew myself who comes from Norway, I feel proud that a prominent Israeli like yourself speaks in the name of Humanity! You denounce the Apartheid regime embedded in the Zionist racist and criminal ideology, of Israel which is the antithesis of Judaism. I dissociate myself from that country and its criminal history against the Palestinian people.
For any Gentiles who do not accept and observe the Noahide Code, the Jews are commanded to expel them from the Land of Israel, and they are forbidden by Torah Law to dwell there (whether they are expelled or not).

The Zionists did do that part. Read the Declaration of Independence of Israel, Israel offered there peace for the Arabs. When Israel was establish it offered the Arabs peace to live in two states next to each other. The Arabs refused and declared a war. And still - those Arabs that didn't attack the Jews and Israel and didn't run away all got lately Israel's citizenship. Today 20% of Israelis are Muslims&Arabs that have full rights and are equel to the Jews in any possible way. And Israel has the freedom of religion.

A country that classifies its citizens based on their race, religion or ethnicity won’t last in the long run. I liken Israel to the book Frankenstein. As in the book, Dr Frankenstein created the monster that eventually killed him, but the real victim was the monster, not the doctor. Israel created Hamas by subjugating the Palestinians, and although Hamas are not the victims per se, the Palestinians are. As with the book, most people today don't actually read it, instead the rely on film adaptations where the true message of the book is lost... making Dr. Frankenstein out as the victim. Perhaps we can agree on calling it a racial ideology, one based in ethnicity and race and heredity, rather than some more amorphous idea of the "nation" that is more inclusive. And that when applied in reality, it inevitably leads to racist actions, although it is not the stated purpose or intention of the ideology as such. Which when contrasted with, say, White Power movements like the KKK who clearly are a racist ideology, will not yield an explicit racist motif or purpose for the ideology.

Israel defines itself as a Jewish state, which means that, from their point of view, more non-Jewish citizens of Israel are a bad thing. So to me, that is racist, since it shows a preference for one group over the other, even though other groups have equal rights under the law in Israel, so far as I know. The question for me is, is this wrong? Jews are in the minority everywhere else. Why shouldn't there be one place where Jews are and stay the majority, and are in control over their destiny? Besides, other groups can live and do well there, also. There are many Arab and Muslim countries where Arabs and Muslims are the majority and in control, and want it to stay that way. Why should the Jews be any different? I believe that every religious and ethnic group should have at least one territory where they are the majority and in control. Those who wish to live in multicultural and multiracial societies can do so; those who wish to live in a society where their own group is in the majority and in control should have the right to do so, also. The world is big enough to accommodate both preferences. Also, Israel is the ancestral homeland of the Jews; doesn't this give them a right to live there, now?
