- I've played and beaten Startropics a few days ago as part of the #BeatRetroGameGuys challenge for their upcoming episode on the game. I had so much fun and my memories of playing this and figuring out the puzzles with my brother took me back in time. Naturally I had to cover/remix a track. Enjoy ^^

Very nicely done my dude, got an outrun type vibe to it. This series is so underappreciated, I'm glad it still gets some luv an hasn't been forgotten. The letter from his uncle that came with the game was a nice touch that you don't see nowadays.
I've searched, for many years, for a good remix of this song, which I loved when I was a kid. You are the first person to do it justice. I've heard probably 100 renditions of this, and you are the ONLY one who stuck to the original theme, emphasizing the melody and harmony as they were originally made, and sticking to a sort of "80s" theme which fits the design of the time period it was made. You actually succeeded in what is, in my opinion, the best remix anyone's done of this song, by sticking to the roots of the original composition. Thank you.
This is really great stuff you've got here. I like the instrumentation selection and I think it's fun that you added the game play window in the right hand corner 👌 nice touch ^__^

I love how your remix stays true to the original while also elaborating on the island feel it had. You normally think of island vibe as peaceful, but there's this undertone of something not quite right. Enough to be on edge but not so much to give outright danger vibes. Love it!

Fantastic job! There's something about the Startropics games... for the quality of the OST's, you don't see a whole lot of remixes. It seems like the ST2 soundtrack still has plenty of untapped potential.
