      You can always weld a corner flat. Can you do a video doing a corner as if you can not do it horizontally like in the video?

    I’d like to say that the way you turn someone being rude to you or saying something about your welds you find a way to teach people something new and you turn it into wonderful work, it’s inspiring to see as I am just getting into the trade

    I have never touched any welding equipment before, but I came here with curiosity because I may be working on a houseboat and framing the interior with aluminum tubing. My nephew is a welder so I was just trying to get an idea about what to expect. You have a great capacity for teaching and explaining things. I totally got it

    Great Video, and Primo looking Corner. You made that look very easy, which it is NOT by any stretch. Welding an Aluminum Corner with results like that (perfectly straight heat lines, and penetration) take lots, and lots of Practice. I've always heard that it takes 10,000 hours to perfect you Art or Craft, whether that be a Musical Instrument, Painting, or Tig Welding. My Brother, you have obviously put in the hours. That's as nice of a Corner that I have seen. Been following you for a long time. You are Mastering your Art/Craft, no doubt about it.
    Keep up the Great Work! 👍

    Hi after a general search I found your demonstration here, after watching I immediately subscribed. Your welding is awesome.
    I have just purchased the Hitbox mig 200ii and hope to weld aluminium box section, so learning is key to what I may need.
    I will continue to watch more of your tutorials first. Thank you.

    Really helpful video. Thanks!
    I wonder if you'd like to make a video for "How to weld a square tubing frame". I mean, what is the correct corners sequence to weld a square or a rectangular frame in the correct sequence to prevent it from warping and keeping it flat.
    I've watched these kind of videos, they are all very unclear and confusing. I hoped that you with your experience, and being very good at explaining things, would be able to make the first clear video about this subject?
    Up for the challenge? LOL

      @Dan L. As far as what sequence to Weld this 1 Corner, he just showed you that, but as far as the sequence for an entire Square Frame, go to Fireball Tool UA-cam page, Jason who owns thar company actually made a Great Video on the exact Subject of how to Weld a Square Tube Frame, and the exact Sequence he uses to minimize Warping/Twisting. He teaches it exactly the way I was taught 25 years ago.

    You are extremely talented. I watched most of the videos you have put out there was mindblown by your skills .. I was wondering is it a 100% must have to get a foot pedal or will get results like yours using a normal torch setup? Thanks alot

    Can you TIG weld Aluminum sheets 2mm thick?

    • @chrisallen9154
      @chrisallen9154 2 роки тому +2

      Should be relatively easy at this thickness depending on a number of things such as position of material, alloy of material, filler rod requirements. Shot answer is yes.

    I wish I knew how much of a bead in a crack-sensitive alloy like 6061 needs to be made up of filler. Is 25% enough? 35? ... 🧐
