I'm always impressed by the attention to detail by your crew. I have several projects I have put off only because I have no confidence I can find conscientious workers. I'd hire you guys in a heartbeat. Great work!
Wow thanks! We would be happy to do the work as well!
Watching them remove 2 square meters again at 16:15 to improve the level.. I'd agree with you!
That Hispanic guy work really hard,Nice job.
Lots of hard work and attention to details made for a beautiful driveway. One can sit by the garage and look down towards the street all day just admiring it. The sealer really makes it pop.
I concur
TY
This whole process was incredible. The finished product was beyond beautiful. These guys did a great job! Everything was so precise and I bet the client was thrilled!
TY
Oh my God... That's a LOT of work! I got tired just watching it. Great job and attention to details.
Some1 taught him the right way to lay pavers, very inspiring! Now I need to go make a paver video for my channel, but do it with stencils
I’ll be looking forward to that video!
@@OdellCompleteConcrete yeah I've been trying to sell a stencil job tbh! Great video, I left some extra comments 4 annilitical purposes,,it had a great thumbnail and I think it will do good
Hi David, I use a piece of old conveyor belt about 15 inches wide which I drilled the edges of my compactor so I just bolt it on when I whack my pavers down, it was an old piece of belt which didn't cost anything, and it's not worn much at all. Give it a try 👍👍atb to you
Good idea
Ty
Your company and employees are some BAD BOYS! I watched this video from start to finish. You guys really know your stuff. Beautiful job...Top Notch Skills.
TY
People don't know how much is involved in prepping beautiful craft work. ❤
I concur

God bless you.
Looks very nice!!
Good job to the Mexican guy teaching his old school tricks !
Mr. Roman deserves a bonus.
I don’t even do this for living but I love watching these videos.
Awesome
TY
What a great looking job! The homeowner should be happy you guys took the time to do things right. Quality still matters.
You got that right!
Beautiful workmanship. Paver Driveway, aesthetically, for me is winning combination compering to raw concrete ones
We agree!
Fine work! You should show a before and after shot at the end...just to show how awesome the after is.
Yeah that’s a good idea 👍
Perfect technique right there guys w the pipes. Good job filling in tye pipes w sand too
So beautifully done, I am amazed. The Odell team is the best!
TY
Well done again Mr Odell. Hard work aint' easy............and easy work is hard to get!
A sign of professional craftsmanship. Perfect and Well Done!
Yous do such a vast variety of work ,,kudos guys ,,fantastic.
Ty !
Fantastic work. Much respect for your attention to detail. I do a few things different, but I’m in Ohio. There’s more than one way to skin a cat. Never skinned one, but you get it. Great job though. I’ve noticed your grade screeding boards you set for concrete. Haven’t tried that yet. I normally run a string line from either edge, hammer a steel pin in, and put a nail or screw through the given hole, and screed to that. Much respect from Ohio. 🤙🏻🇺🇸💯
Great video Mr O'Dell, BTW I hate laying pavers. I like stencil concrete better. 😎 good video again. Way better than west coast
Ty you and yea I agree 🙏
@@OdellCompleteConcrete yes sir! You are the king of the west coast! 4 sure the1 and original!
Hey guys, I see your son is getting into the pavers and I think that’s great and will expand your business. Look into #8 1/4 - 3/8 clean chip stone (hpb) for your bedding. Much easier to screed, no worries about rain during install, no ants tunneling and no wash out.
Everything seems to be in favor of it. Basically it’s the same bedding as if your doing a permeable drive/patio with all clean stone. Hope this is helpful for you guys.
Thanks for all your videos and I love the family business you guys have for the family!!!
Dave,
Thanks for the tips.
Roman knows his stuff. Brick master.
Yes
Great work on laying the pavers. Keeping the lines nice and straight is harder then it looks.
Yes
TY
Thanks for sharing, I really enjoy watching your son and his crew at work - Roman made it look so easy, a sign of a true craftsman
Ty
I believe they make plate compactors with plastic plate specially for pavers
Awesome job
New subscriber
Yes they do.
TY
Perfect corner piece right there
We used to live in Buena Park, Monroe and Knott. Love the pavers
Right on
TY
Omg that startup, I was like wtf dude are you serious? Well done, another great video by real pros! My wife would surely not go for those slivers on the front porch…
Haha Ty appreciate it!
Another great work done !
Satisfying to do and how simple it looks getting done, and the end result beautifies the whole neighbourhood! : ))

Your son Timmy "baked his trade" in pavers very well! All his pavers jobs look immaculate! Those steps covered in pavers are true candy! Congrats
Edit: Too bad he give up of his Odell Complete Landscaping channel.
Yeah thought it just made More sense to keep everything on the main channel
Ty though
What a job!…looks beautiful!…what does a job like this cost?…ballpark figure…….
I use to do construction nice job using the grinder to cut the blocks for the driveway
TY
After rinse, spray sealer for stain protection, water damage, preservation of pavers...
Nice work
Yes
TY
The end result is heavenly...
Holy smokes that came out fantastic. I think the siding game has to be upped to match the quality of of that paver job.
For sure
That driveway looks awesome, clicked the reminder button, see ya in 4 hours 😆
It’s worth the wait!
@@OdellCompleteConcrete I waited, and wasn't disappointed. Awesome work as usual.
love your commentary and insight Dave!

Great job. Nobody ever talks about the pavers they put on the pool deck of the Champlain Towers in Miami which collapsed. (The pool deck was over the parking garage.) That's a lot of tonnage, which the pool deck was not designed for, precipitating a collapse of the structure.
Yes, the water goes between the pavers and sets on the concrete base which then rust the steel out and then collapses.
a bit of carpet on the bottom of the plate compactor works a treat
Sounds good
TY
stellar work again gents! the client must be overjoyed
ty
Tim is the king of the pavers! 👑👑👑. Is he considering striking out on his own? “Odell’s Son Paver Company” - How does that sound? 🤩🤩🤩
PS - Those front steps should win some sort of prize! Beautiful!! 🏆🏆🏆
Sounds good
Perfectly done. How blocks should be laid.
It look so much different in Europe particularly in Poland how you put those pavers. I write most of a differences:
1. Dry cement mix as a base not always but it help in Poland because much more rain than in California. On driveway for trucks also a rock or crushed concrete. Some types of pavers cant be but on dry concrete mix because of staining.
2. Special edgers, you use what to me look like differed type of pavers. In Europe we got concreate edgers ~3x1 ft and 1,5 inch thick. Or different type to make steps for example 10x8 inches and ~1,5 feet high so you can make steps or flower pot, edge on terrace or patio.
3. Start with edge or pavers is no difference it depends on the work. Where you want to cut it if you want to use whole pavers.
4. We got half pavers on a palet so no need of cutting or few sizes in pallet depends on type of pavers.
5. No polymer sand use, mostly normal sand. Putting sand in to nooks and crannies switched from similar method of yours to rinsing sand with lot of water no excess sand is needed.
6. That rubber to vibrate pavers comes as standard in some of plate compactor, You said that price of that rubber is few hundred bucks, in Poland you can buy a cheapest compactor for a 390 USD.
Interesting differences
TY
Fine job 👏🏿 Mr. Tim!
TY
Great job looks assume. I think I would park on the street instead of driving on it to keep it looking new. 😍
Good choice
Glad to see see dude fixed what he didn't like instead of letting it ride @ 16:12
Yeah got to always be double checking
Looks awesome. Great work.
Another great looking project finished. Do u prefer pouring the concrete or the pavers? Seems to me, pavers are be much more labor intensive overall..
Magnificent, magnificent work.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great work, looks real nice! Wouldn't transferring the slivers by the stairs to the end by the fence be the best option (i.e. just shifting the gap so it shows up over by the fence)? Just a thought.
If they had done what you suggested, the full course on the SIDE of the house, and its critical alignment at the garage, would not have worked. Layout always forces a compromise somewhere. Too bad they don't make a "paver stretcher" since it looked like that sliver piece was only about 1.5" wide. Great job guys. Looks beautiful
Yes, its a tricky situation
Absolutely beautiful job your crew is excellent
Thank you very much!
In the UK we always set the edges first then lay the block pavers.....You can get a block cutter which is faster than cutting with a stil saw and no mess, you just need to mark every block that you need to cut.
Wow time and labor intensive
Like the stamped concrete but I noticed it fades in Florida sun, looks crummy, the pavers always look great over time
That’s true
That's a cool hat.
Very good job Ramon💪🇺🇲🙏
Thank you so much 😀
Cracking looking drive guys well done .
ty

Great
TY
Another beautiful driveway !!!!
TY
That job was amazing
You see how he used the compactor and the sand at the end. That's exactly how u do it. That driveway will last at least 20 years
Okay, the guy in the first scene got me lol
OSS
Wow you guys did a super amazing job.
TY
Nice work ! I usually go 3 coats of sealer .. but Canadian stuff is not as good as the US stuff
I put on a lot because of winter doing a number on it
don’t worry be happy
Nice work as always
Thanks again!
Really good work you guys Rock
Ty
Looks great, content keeps getting better.
Thank we are always trying to improve
Instead of cardboard you could use a scrap piece of carpet under the compactor
That should work
I have no idea why I just watched this lol , but these guys do good work
Ty
Hello from Greece. Congrats for your company. Your videos are very useful. I want to ask u if there is a change, when install pavers the grass came out again and how we can avoid that??
Very nice result as always.

Great job. Regards from New Zealand.
TY
Excellent Video !!!! 😊
Thank you very much!

Milwaukee m18 sprayer would be nice lol
GL
Beautiful as always
Wow this came out really nice.
Ty
You guys do awesome work and make great videos....thanks
Our pleasure!
TY
The paving looks good, but I wouldn't put up with them wrecking my nice brick veneer, Yup, back charge paving co. for bricklayer patch work!
Whooooot!!! And it’s sealed???!
You bet!
