It is a major passenger and freight roll-on roll-off port.

This webcam is located close to the elevated centre of Larne, and points east towards Islandmagee and across the Irish Sea.
On the left of the camera, two large white sheds are visible from the Caterpillar NI Ltd factory, located on the Old Glenarm Road.
