Colorful, quirky, and worth the drive just to see the hundreds of sugar birds alone! Our food and our waitress were both awesome! My little boy burned his leg on the muffler on the way in. It could have ruined our trip. She quickly cut a branch off a local plant and treated his burn. Then she washed his feet off with the hose. What an angel. She was swamped with tables, but she stopped and helped him. We had simple eats- delicious- and the roll, O MY the lobster roll was worth the price and we have been home two weeks and I keep thinking I wish I had another one. Will return. We were in St John a week and this place is on our top five favorites of the whole island. An Icon. And family friendly at lunch.
The last time we were there was so funny! The lady was complaining about his sugar feeding as it was brining in the bees. They were bickering a bit as always. And then she got nailed. What did he do? Went and fed the birds more sugar... Typical islands.. Love that place. And her rooster with a tie made into a poop basket under his ass.
My dream is to go to St John. When/if I get to, I will visit this place. I like mom and pop places better than McD's,etc.....I hope you guys do well.....
Be very careful of the locals. Yes they can guide you, but don't get off the beaten path to far. And if it feels odd. Move on. Best way is to rent a jeep and get lost. Ask in the stores and restaurant for tips. This place is still open and a lot of fun. Been here 10 years so feel free to PM me for any tips in either STJ or STT. Thanks for coming and have a great stay.
No offense intended, but there may have been a reason. It is an island place not a state side event and people need to act accordingly. Tourist blow in with their kids and being mega demanding. Then they are surprised when they get push back. Seen it hundreds of times.
Nice caribean breeze and serene living is evident. This is the way all people should be able to live.

Food is good but very bad experience with the waitress. She was extremely rude and nasty. 😞
