I love how your getting into jumping a lot more! I find it cheeky when people criticise your position when you were/still pretty much are a full time dressage rider😭

Hey Erin your amazing at jumping ahhh! I’m sure you know this and did this but when setting up cross poles make sure there’s a little gap between the poles only just so the poles have room to move around if the horse clips it :) x
That was fun he’s such a good boy Ted looking after you when you lost your stirrup. You are having fun jumping suits you too. Tfs😎

I recently just got back into riding. I grew up around race horses and after my family passed away I stopped riding and being around horses.
I love love love your videos, I’m newer to your channel but I’ve subscribed and watched all of your videos already 😭 it’s motivated me to keep at it and maybe one day even compete in jumping or dressage.

You are so good, your lower legs are super still, I am working on that, it seems as I am starting to post trot more from my knee and thigh (as you should!) my lower leg has started to move, it is always one step forward one step back, it seems, haha- as soon as I master one thing another falls apart, but it is such a compelling journey I never get tired of working on it! I love that you are brave enough to try another discipline entirely, it will only make you a better horseperson! Your jumping is really getting good!

Don’t feel bad about losing your stirrup, I’ve lost my stirrup at a show, and I had to finish my course before getting my foot back in, I find sometimes it’s the stirrup other times its your foot position, I recently got new stirrups and they have really been helping! The lighter stirrups I find are better when jumping :)
That’s just what I’ve found, but I’ve only been riding for about a year and I only started jumping a couple months ago, but thats just my personal opinion :)

Haha those wings are so hard 😂 I carry them with the black stand thing in front of me like basically in my face so they are a more even weight since all of the weight is in the base. Hope you know what I mean it was a lot easier when I tried it that way
