Or just put the bivvy up properly in the first place and no need for these. On my 4th tempest now and never had a snapped pole or block. The last three tempests I had were all sold in perfect condition as I’ve moved onto another model. All the bad reviews I’ve heard on tempests are nothing more than down to pure hamfisted users.
Cant believe that if youve just spent 800 pounds on a bivvy you would have to be cutting it up to make it strong enough not break when using it in a confined swim.
Neat idea but falls a little short for the anti twist system as a permanent fix but definitely a good on the bank repair though. A simple key added to the part that inserts into the cut pole and add a cut out slot (for the key to home), on the cut pole may solve the twist issue.

I'm definitely going to buy a set of these and start choppin' up my £750 bivvy.
Tempest bivvy are not cheap so if these poles are a weak spot/fault tempest needs to have the poles already reinforced at the manufacturing stage!
Buy a Fox Frontier.... Problem solved.
Wow £50 for two little poles sections that probably cost no more than £2 to make lol
Does it prevent you fitting the skull cap brackets?
I only took 6 months from brand new to find Pole 3 has snapped! I need this ASAP.
Will these fit the cyprinus typhoon
Will these fit to the 100t, pls and how much, where can we buy?
