So everyone knows, a locking nut is supposed to be threaded all the way down. It will surpass the threads and that’s why, it locks tighter when you keep tightening it. Do not just swap it to the normal nut like suggested in this video. 🤙
what did you guys use to tighten these down. i cant seem to break the seal or whatever on the locking nut. ive seen people on youtube do it with an allen key but i cant
You do need the bracket, it's what connects the whole seat assembly to the floor of the car. Even if it would bolt up, you wouldn't be able to see over the steering wheel
Oooph wish I can help but I’m new to seats as well lol but get your waste measurement and go by that. If you have a store near by with seats I would go and sit in them and see what fits me.

I was able to use the locking nuts that came with it and they were really tight.
yeah i was honestly shocked that he did not realize that and wasted a trip to the store
Thanks for saying it.changing a locking nut for a normal nut is a great way for your seat to rattle loose over time.

move the seats now. If you put it on your way they don't slide because the moveable bar is pinned against the bracket.
Did you usea rubbe mallet to hit tap the bar into the 2 slider pegs?
How many bolts did you put in the slider, 4 or 6? Did you do 4 in the slider and the other 4 in the mount?
Just 4 in total, rail through slider. Mount comes already mounted.

Those are nyloc nuts 🤦♂️ they aren’t designed to stop threading, you keep tightening through the nylon section

Yeah I do. I take an hour drive almost every weekend and I already drove 4 hours back to back and had no issues. Still pretty comfortable in general.

Corbeau brackets didn’t work with prism seats?
No they did not Unfortunately
@@Itsa_project I ended up getting a prisma seat and corbeau brackets and made an adapter to bolt in between the two. Wasn’t too bad. Loving it so far.
