You know something I realized about toga?
The most likely reason why she thinks that love should be when two people are exactly the same (aka the same person) is probably because of self esteem issues. I mean when she was little she was contently told that she is "creepy" or "ugly" and that she should change she also had feelings for a girl (later on a boy who she would eventually kill) and she thought she was so cute that she started biting herself in her sleep thinking about her. So the reason she thinks she should be like the person she loves is because she believes that she is creepy and ugly and that being like the people she loves make her not creepy but instead make her cute!
That is actually a pretty good idea as to why she thinks that way. I'm impressed.
The boy from her backstory? He lived, actually
@@Gioppdumister
Pretty sure he died of blood loss.
Am I the only who noticed that she had tears in her eyes?
@@adriannapaul-allen6268 Yeah, Toga's story is definitely a tragedy.
Luci Christian and Leah Clark are really selling this. Then again the My Hero Academia dub is one of the most consistently great dubs that I've listened to.
I was wondering why Ochako sounded like Nami😅
@@Victoriaanne706 Oh wow! Didn’t know Ochako and Nami share the same voice. Now I hear it!

Himiko: "Why won't anyone save me?"
Ochaco: "Save you from what?"
Ochaco- Because you like to hurt those that try to help you... Seriously WHO haven't you tried to Stab?!?!
@Justin Martinez Izuku obviously.
@@hoohoo431 "Ugh...can you ladies shut up?"
Ochaco: cause you are a selfish human being who kills people for extremely selfish reasons, who’s helping a dude kill tons and tons of people including kids just for fun. Quite frankly you don’t deserve to be saved, if we were the monsters as you claimed then we would’ve killed you already, but did we?
We gave you every single chance to change your life, we have treatment centers, we have ways to help those who used to be villains be better people, but you refuse to even try. You are a coward, you chose an easier path and look where it’s gotten you. You are alone your friend is dead and it’s all because your petty goal.
"Save you from what?"
That is honestly the biggest question I have for Toga. What the hell does she want from people other than for them to die?
I feel bad for toga. She’s affected by her quirk, and she has always been seen as a freak or an outcast.
I know that Toga wants an excuse to have all the power but all the responsibility be on someone else, but I remember distinctly thinking "That was the wrong answer, Ochako."
To Ochako, this was a typical superhero-supervillain verbal exchange. But for Toga, if she had just heard the right thing, I think things would've been different.
Thing is, Toga herself has no leg to stand on when her and Twice have committed many many crimes, including murder
When a hero has to kill, its a necessity, done selfless or greatly debated. When someone like Toga kills, its both selfish and on a whim.
@Ace Clover Yeah, but for this instance, it just doesn't work anymore. No matter how you look at this, morality or not, villain v hero or not, it's still heroes committing mass genocide.... all this has proved is that Stain was RIGHT. There are no heroes left in the MHA world... it's Injustice all over again...
@@antonitocotter447 What mass genocide?
The villains literally got an army together to cause chaos
No heroes? Didnt know people like Mt.Lady were not heroes anymore
@@aceclover758 Did you not see the latest season... or am I getting things mixed up....?
@@antonitocotter447 Im up to date in the manga and the heroes gathered together to combat a literal organization of criminals that want to commit terrorist acts
Villains: Why are heroes always after me?
Also villains: Attack and kill innocent people
Thing is you don’t have to worry about a hero robbing you or killing your parents. Ask Twice who killed his parents and left him an orphan?
Ill give you a hint: it wasnt a hero
The most dub actors in this show really put in effort which I appreciate
Of course. A majority of them used to be in One Piece before they worked on MHA. Ochaco included. She voiced Nami.
Both actresses did a great job in this.
I like Ochako, I know she was stressed... I felt like she could've handled this better. I'm not justifying Toga's actions. But I do think she had a point in this conversation that could've been handled differently. Maybe it's because I like the idea of reform for those like Gentle Criminal, Stain, and Vigilantes... But things did seem black and white here... It comes off as something Deku may have handled better seeing how he did have experience with Gentle and Stain as well as heroes who weren't always so heroic...
I’m a fan of the kind of writing that brings attention to accountability. A romanticized perspective on a villain’s past in any story as a medium for potential redemption always seems to be the go to in character development in mainstream entertainment, but simply explaining “you may have your reasons, but you will still be held accountable for your actions” will always resonate with me. Reform shouldn’t only be about accepting someone for who they are and telling them it’s ok, it’s about opening their eyes to their own destructive methods and returning it to them in equal potency as a consequence. It’s real and in my opinion a more intimate way of having someone think outside of themselves and understand how they affect others that share the same world as them. I’m on team Ochako fully for this scene.
I love how Ochako gets all serious it’s awesome
Well actually: spoilers...
Toga wasn't vibing with what Deku said later either in the manga. Uraraka is trying to get through to her still though.
The anime dub makes Uraraka sound harsher here. In the manga she said Toga would have to "live with the consequences of her actions" (which is true), but dub said she "deserves what's coming to her".
@@undercvrwtch That's fair. For the record, I don't think Ochako is in the wrong. I do believe she's right, but I think (and it'll be touched on later; probably next season) she could've handled it better. Toga should be held accountable for the things she's done... but that's a conflict of showing versus telling as we haven't seen Toga's actions outright nor is she responsible for the destruction or has even hurt Ochako directly (though I could be misremembering). Of course, Ochako doesn't know Toga's story. An while her story doesn't justify her actions imo, I think it could provide context on how to better approach her reasoning. Not that it matters in this instance, I just think Toga had a valid point on perspective in this fight. Some villains aren't inherently evil but are a product of how they were treated. I feel that is important for a hero to remember, but I also know that's strictly my opinion based on knowledge and experience Ochako wouldn't have and not a fact.
Someone give Toga a hug and therapy. I hear this Dr. Harleen Quinzel is great...
She does need therapy with the way she's acting like SERIOUS therapy and fast before it's to late.
@@UltraInstinctShadow124 It's already too late

I don't blame you , they're really good
Literally the greatest candy on earth it’s food of the gods 🤤
I’m gonna build a Reese’s shrine that’s how much I love it
It's a nice touch that this is basically foreshadowing the whole "Heroes that are assassins" system that Nagant tells Deku about
I’ve seen a couple of comments saying how Toga was fully in the wrong and what Uraraka was saying was right. I do agree that what Uraraka is saying is right to a certain extent but Toga isn’t completely in the wrong either. The point that Toga was trying to make in this video, from my knowledge, was how Heroes blatantly kill and believe that what their doing is correct no matter what, justifying their actions without understanding and taking in account of the villains actions and feelings. To put in simple, Toga was always seen as a monster because of her quirk. In order for her to function she needs blood, in which Is the reason everyone feared her including her parents. Toga became a “villain” because no one tried to help or understand her. She joined the villain’s league because they didn’t judge or call her a freak. They understood her and accepted her despite the differences she carried. She wanted help, friends, a family but was never able to do so or obtain those wishes, except the villain’s league. In the video, Toga is saying how its not fair how people in society are labeled as “villains” when they’re driven to extreme extents and are numb from the pain they endured because they where not given help when they needed it. Toga is saying how people who are supposedly “villains” understand her more than the people who are suppose to protect and help; heroes. In this fight between Toga and Uraraka, Toga was hoping to hear that a heroe can understand villains but realized that there was no such heroe. She was given the answer she was hoping to not hear. All Toga wants is a world where there is no black and white but an in between. A world where people understand and love people for how they are born. I believe that if Uraraka said a different answer, an answer that Toga knows is coming from a heart of understanding, that things would’ve turned out different.
To put it in another way, Uraraka's response confirmed whatever biases Toga already held at that point. That's a normal human thing that I wouldn't crap on Toga for, but I think it's fair to say that's what happened. To your point about heros blatantly killing, I think a major reason for Toga worrying about that has to do with Hawks killing Twice, but the thing with that situation is that Hawks indicated that he was hesitant to kill Twice, and only did so after two or more attempts to convince Twice to stand down. When you try to convince someone to submit themselves without using actual violence (or using minimal violence), and that person continues to resist, there has to be some way to control that person, especially if failing to control that person carries a risk of much greater harm to the opposing party in mutual war, or the public. In a state of mutual conflict, Hawks was in a position to act based on weighing the unavoidable tradeoffs of consequences, and Twice willingly put himself in a position where he could be killed as an enemy of that same conflict.

@Napoleon Bonaparte Nah, she's been involved in helping out people evacuate as well, and in Deku's training flashback.
@Napoleon Bonaparte She's the MVP next part of season towards the end and got spotlight in new OP.
She will have a great moment towards the second part. And kinda hinted by new OP.
Even though she was helping evacuate, she still should've been involved in the battle. I mean yeah, she's more interested in rescuing, but, she didn't learn Martial Arts for no reason...

0:29 Uraraka's answer to Toga
I mean uraraka isn’t wrong , every action you take , everything you do or say will have a consequence , and it will catch up to you ,toga can’t stop drinking blood and hurting others , so at this point , she should’ve know that she would face consequences for what she is doing .
Yeah exactly like I feel bad for Toga for sure, but you can't just go around killing/threatening people and expect people to feel sorry for you and be empathetic.
Considering the fact that she can’t physically live or function without blood, i have a little more sympathy. Yea it’s still vile what she does, but she only does it because her body literally cannot function without consuming blood
It's a shame that there are those who either don't know it or don't want to accept it
@@THEKXRMANETWORKThere could've been a better way. Of course I blame it on her parents for oppressing her for so long, but she could've learned how to use her quirk for good. Toga had so many chances to make friends but I guess her quirk doesn’t help at all. Maybe she is cursed in that way.
Could explain a lot
It's disappointing that Himiko didn't keep the eyepatch, made her look more menacing
How the fxck did it get to the point where she NEEDED an eyepatch?!
Definitely enjoyed this episode when I saw it
I think Toga knows that Ochako is right but the insanity produced from her quirk won't let her.
Why are people acting like Ururaka's being unreasonable.
I know Toga has her backstory and circumstances, But Uraraka’s words at 0:29 were correct
Considering Toga literally cannot help it (she NEEDS blood, it's a literal requirement for her to function) and the people around her never once tried to help her manage her urges in a healthy manner... no. Not really.
Spoiler Alert🚨🚨
I can't wait to see how Deku answers to Toga would look like when Final War gets adapted to anime on Season 7 but one problem is it's until next year 2024 the manga is still continuing
Even if she is correct she still felt hurt
@R. Jay She is correct. More so in the sub/manga. The dub made Uraraka's line harsher. She said in manga/sub Toga has to live with three consequences of her actions, which is true. The narrative just frames Toga being somewhat empathetic because we have a POV of her that Uraraka doesn't have.
@@Gioppdumister honestly I think toga was cursed from the beginning and there is no “ healthy way” of her dealing with her quirk , from what we saw , her fascination with blood started small , she first felt amazed and fascinated with blood , then she started consuming from small animals ( that bird ) , then I believe it was stated in one of the recent mha books that toga also cut and bit herself so she could appreciate her own blood , basically she took major steps into her obsession , so trying to keep her “ stuck “ , to stop her from walking any further is basically suppressing her urges .
As well in spies in disguise the protagonist lance tells the villain Killian why should he feel bad if he hurt him since he was a terrorist and Killain said that he saw EVERY SINGLE ONE of his men die and wants to kill everyone at Lance’s agency as revenge showing that not all villains are heartless but the heroes think they don’t deserve sympathy or anything like that since they are the “Good guys” and no one should feel bad for the villains
This is when Ochako gets another view of Toga.
This is maybe why the League is more like Toga’s real family and the only ones she could trust to be herself. 😢
Toga your the anime version of Harley. That’s why i love her character. She’s just so unstable and in need of help I can’t help but want her to get better. If everyone can let Harley redeem herself after killing thousands of people and tons of little kids than so can toga. She can just be like Harley as an anti hero
Problem here is that Toga isn't exactly rational, so a more empathetic response might have caused her to come around, but she hasn't really given Ochako any reason to do so or even know to do so, I mean she barely knows anything about Toga, and everything she says just sounds like lame excuses to her (which, yeah, kind of)
Nice, I love it when villains are called out for their evil
Imagine the fight being over Deku.
That's what I thought as well!
The fight is about Toga trying to find connection to someone
If it was then it would be a W fight
Himiko also loves Ochaco as well.

Just learned Nami from One Piece and Ochako share the same voice actor wow lol
Toga is so complex, hori really created a sad villain. Only mature intellect ppl know togas story and pain. Ochako failed so bad
Toga's a brat who couldn't handle the fact people didn't wanna hang out with the girl who carried dead birds around. And decided commiting nation wide terrorist attacks and killing thousands would fix it.
I don't like how they try to make it seem like Toga isnt doing anything wrong idk is it just me but i feel like they are trying to justify her actions and make us feel bad for her
Those perceptive enough or with a good set of morals wont feel bad for her
She has to live with the consequences of her actions
She bitches about Twice but gave no thought to the innocents she has killed or their families
I don't think they are, really, I think there are two sides to the story, they're exposing the flaw in the hero system in that they only see certain people as worthy of humanity and sympathy, and because Himiko wasn't one of those people, she was led into villainy. Of course, nobody told her to become a villain, but that's exactly why I say there's two sides to every coin.
@@imthebossmermaid3648 That wasnt the hero system, that was her parents that did that to Himiko and pushed to being a villain
Just like society didnt fail Twice. His boss failed him and Twice failed himself from abusing his power
Also, a villain killed Twice’s parents and left him a orphan, not hero society
@@aceclover758 That's true but I'm talking about how society at large sees those with "villainous" powers as inherently evil and unfit for heroism. Thus leading them into villainy, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. And yes, it IS the hero system, because remember Stain used to be a hero but people turned on him because of his Quirk.
And I'm not erasing their wicked deeds, of course not. Himiko Toga might be my favorite character, but I'm not justifying her becoming a serial killer, nor Twice, although I like him. But I'm explaining why they were led on the path that they were.
@@imthebossmermaid3648 Which is hypocritical since fire manipulation should be seen as a villainous power since fire is only good for destruction aka combat

0:29 🤨Why she crying?😢
She's only there cuz Jin was killed and she wanted to know if Ochako or Deku would actually try to save her or murder her like Jin was. Ochako's statement tells Toga the answer.
@@Gioppdumister Well Deku hasn't killed anyone I don't think.
@@destroyerblackdragon he hasn't but that's not the point.
Toga is asking "will you try to save me?" Ochako's response of "you'll get what's coming to you" tells her that, no. No they won't. She'll be killed like Jin was.
While that likely isn't what either Izuku or Ochako would do, it's irrelevant because that's not what Toga heard. That's not what Toga saw.
@@Gioppdumister She saw a monster, a number of hero fans like me and you probably saw this as well. No hero, only a soldier of war.
Toga was so dumb here. If she wanted to ask Ochako a question, why did she attack her? She could've told her that she just wanted to talk. Maybe Ochako would've listened to her.
First she wanted to see her reaction then ask. Twice died by hero and twice was like a friend to all but he died in defense
On top of that, Toga actively pulled Uraraka away from evacuating civilians for the sake of asking her this question, using a disguise that she likely acquired from wounding the person she impersonated, and after Uraraka just witnessed Asui almost get hurt trying to rescue someone else. Considering what Uraraka was out there to do in the first place, I don't think it was even the right time and place for Toga to even raise the issue, but I think her tactics to get Uraraka's attention made the opportunity less ideal.
I knew these two have rivalry not just hero vs villain
Did they ever release the OST for this scene? It definitely sounded like a remix of Toga’s nature in season 5.
If Toga hadn’t killed people I would’ve wanted her to change
Himiko: "Ochako... I think so very highly of you. I didn’t realize you think so low of me. Goodbye, Ochacko.

God loves you and Jesus died and rose for you. Accept him and let go of your sins and desires and follow him. Take care. Great content from the English dub!
¿¿¿por que me siento como si viera a deku y katsuki??? ... XD

I love uraraka
Season and episode
They are fake hero in heroes of academy.
The battle of waifus has begun
Toga was set up to fail and die from the start. Even in the earlier seasons, they hint something WILL happen to her which will bring her downfall
I’m a bit confused. What exactly is Toga up to?
She wanted to understand the hero's motivations and why since they preach that they will save everyone no matter who they are, why it was so easy for Hawks to kill Twice and Ochako essentially made it sound like that they deserved it
Still seems wrong to kill other villains. Especially because twice was sad and Hawks just straight up committed murder to him. Also it might make heroes look bad.
I actually liked twice
@@mexicanitachi same bro It was tragic that he died and I can imagine how upset toga must be feeling right now
@@mexicanitachi so did I, he was like the Anime version of Deadpool rest in peace
Toga 🙁
Massive L for Uravity all around. She lost in combat and in conversation. Ochako had better education, better training, and better upbringing. She really has no reason to be failing so much.
? Toga is an experienced serial killer. She even stabbed Aizawa in the Overhaul arc, so you're definitely undermining Uraraka against a formidable opponent.
Ochako interned at a martial arts specialist
