What an awesome tour. Had to catch it a couple days late on rerun. The beauty of UA-cam. Just incredible fish and tanks, all of them. Ben you are the first home creator I've seen to produce such an in depth behind the scenes tour. Just loved it , thank you for sharing.(just an edited note, have your electrician do a safety walk down with all the cords and such on the floor. No ends or outlets on the floor that could flood. And always provide drip loops.)

I like the coffee station. Yeah, first thing in the morning I do is down a large coffee. Nice tanks, and a good idea on the water sensor but is it possible it might malfunction something silly and siphon the lot out of the tank? You'd nee a bigger bucket heh.

Beagles are very sweet, but they will follow their nose and run away if they can. They are hound dogs at heart. But very lovable.
Ben I think you're going to need a bigger garage. But at least you don't have to worry about getting a bigger boat. LOL. Great video as always my friend
LOL, I think the 300 and perhaps a rack for those smaller tanks and I'm going to be max'd out. That's fine because otherwise I think I'll go over the line of how much "work" I want to do each week.

If you follow the Fritz instructions exactly you should start seeing ammonia dropping in a day or so. How are the fish doing? The bacteria in the Fritz product should be eating up that ammonia. Can you test for chlorine? Let's be sure that you're not killing off the BB with chlorine or chloramine.

Great video!! Always enjoy seeing fish keepers prepping for when power goes out. The battery pack is key! Have you thought about setting your fish room up so it can be ran off a generator? I was without power for 5 days and a generator kept everything running perfectly including my fridge full of expensive fish food!!🤙

Build your own back ups . I built a tesla wall , with the help of " will prowse" and " off grid garage" .
Last week I got some shrimp ,,I only keep danios and the shrimp rally cleaned up the tank ,,that's the key to the diatoms problem 😅

Good morning Ben ☀️. This is off the subject but I have a bristlenose pleco who won't come out of my bubbling volcano. Will he be ok in there??
Me, I would get him out of there every now and then to look him over. They come out to eat at night so you might never see him. Maybe block it off with some mesh and then put a pleco cave in there?
Can u please tell me a little about your light's on your 2 55s an were u got them I have a nice light on my 55 but it's only 36"
They are made by Beamswork and are very heavy duty and available on Amazon and eBay. Compare them to Hygger and JC&P before buying. All three are worth a look. All give you a lot for the money. The Hygger's offer sunrise and sunset on a timer which is nice. I like all of them. I hope u remember calling out my name tryna pronounce it correctly from your yesterdays live😜…Can u please give me your suggestion…i have a 94x24x30 inch 300gallon tank with a 60gallon sump with a 4000L/hr return dc pump and a 18000l/hr doublehead wavemaker…I have around 60fishes with mostly few blood parrots,africans(malawi+victorians) and a few americans(severum,GT,Sysnpilum vieja),some plecos and few clown loaches…abeen there for like 4 months now…I have about 20 more fishes in my bucket list that i really want to order…includes more malawi haps and peacocks and a few americans…i really want them but i am also worried if i would be stocking the tank too much and if my filtration is enough for them?
Hello Muhammed! I'm more concerned about the mix of fish since some of the ones you mentioned require very different water parameters. That being said, adding more fish to that set-up should be okay. You can always add a weekly water change to your routine and shorten the amount of time between filter maintenance and you should be okay.

What do you do to cycle your tank quicker I’ve had a 55 gallon cycling for the past six months and still has not completed I’m just taking apart since I am moving soon I will wait until I’m where I need to be and start all over again unless you have any suggestions thank you
Get a local fish store to squeeze a sponge filter from a tank at their store and run it in your tank

Consider booting the BB with a product like Fritz7 and add fish very gradually

No. Aggressive SAs are going into the 300 (but James Large at the Cichlid Shack is pushing for the ACs to get the 300🤣😀)
