- My first EVER Voice Of Baceprot gig at The Dome, London! It was also their FIRST EVER UK performance before they played Glastonbury Festival 😲 Following the stinking hot journey 🚂🌞😰 we grabbed some food and drinks at Aces & Eights in Tufnell Park, before rocking out at the show! Included are some in-venue clips, reaction and my overall thoughts on the performance.

I certainly hope so! I'm a bit disappointed there wasn't more coverage from the BBC for their set at Glastonbury this weekend. But I can always say, I witnessed their first ever UK show. That's pretty sweet 😬

Love the way you show up to the venue early, go for beer and pizza and then film the band from the back of the room. Wish more vloggers would film from the back rather than blocking people's view of the stage. (BTW I can see my bicycle chained to the pole on your way in, so I must have already been in the venue when you went in - great night all round 🤘)
Honestly, I can't stand people that go to a gig and then stand there for the entire duration with their phone up in the air, filming or photographing the entire set. I take a few mins footage of certain moments to try and capture the experience for viewers, but I also want to experience the gig as a fan and music lover too. And dance! And I've made your bike famous too now 😀 Thanks for the kind words and yes - it definitely was a GREAT night 🤘🤘🤘

@@melvinthinks I spoke to a lady who was very nice and happy that I enjoyed vob and I saw her in another video celebrating marsha birthday and the lady was the ambassador wife I couldn't believe it they had so much support from their country and the ambassador was there for shirt while I think he said prayer with them downstairs sorry I have so much to say about my experience 😁

Cheers Robert! I'll always shout about awesome bands I really love on this channel, regardless of how many views the video may get. Especially when a band like VOB brings everyone together. They deserve a LOT more attention and publicity than I think they currently get, yet they still count Tom Morello and Flea as fans! They aint doing too bad but we need to spread the word MORE!
Would have loved to have seen them in Boston! I visited there in 2019 and I ADORED the place. Did New York, Boston and then Toronto on a 2 week trip and Boston was possibly my favourite bit. The Oysters and seafood! OMG!!! Maybe we can transport into one another bodies for a few weeks 😁

Hey Melvin, thanks for this! G's Gigs YT Channel has vids of individual songs from this show if you're looking to react to any of them. They had two gigs scheduled in the UK in 2022, 27 July at The Deaf Institute in Manchester and 28 July at Boston Music Room in London, but they were cancelled (either for COVID or visa issues, depending on who you believe).
Not sure I can warrant a reaction as I've already seen/heard the songs in the flesh now 🤣 But I'll definitely try and check them out. Nice one!
That looked like a bloody good time there! Ill be watching out of the come to the States. These vlogs are quite cool and I enjoy.them. I love going to shows and love seeing people enjoying themselves at shows. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Cheers matey. As I said to you in another comment, I'm trying to capture the experience and excitement of it vs providing pristine audio and video quality. I'm personally not one to watch someone posting phone videos of a gig online, BUT, if they are sharing the overall experience i.e. the build up, pre/post show etc. then it's something unique and can't be reproduced. I can only ever experience a band for the first time, once! lol
@@melvinthinks I couldn't agree with that more. I think it's killer. The getting ready getting in feeling the vibe the countdown and then the release of all that build up is what it's all about! You don't need to be Tarantino to capture that feeling. It's awesome!
I think you can get away with shoddy video, but if the audio is bad, that's a different story. This vlog type stuff, on the street, in bars etc. is all a learning experience for me so am slowly discovering what works/doesn't. Mystery Girl is super helpful too. I hope they'll get better. I don't have the balls to take my Sony ZV1 to a gig (which is what I use for the reaction stuff) because I'm worried I'll get drunk and drop it!
@@melvinthinks I would feel the same about my camera at a show too. Especially here everyone there seemed pretty well behaved at both of your shows lol I have an off brand go pro I've never taken out of the box yet which might be good for stuff like this but I've never tried it out.
You got to try it out. I have thought about getting something like a go pro thingy, so I can take it on runs and will have decent stabilisation. A reckon a go pro would be super cool in a mosh pit. As long as you don't lose it!

Glad to see your dancing on 1st VOB show. VOB music can make us headbang, jump, sing, moshpit and shout. Usually most people will be blown and amazed on the their 1st time see them live.

I highly recommend it! Lots of nice little restaurants around Tufnell Park, and it's very close to Camden Town too. If you ever visit London, definitely hit Camden for the music scene and vibe.

wish I was there. But I can check them live in Indonesia. But it always big crowd here. I like a smaller venue. But that's just me. some people enjoy big crowds like festivals. Anyway, like your vlog, and you can always say, you discover them in the early day before more people know them.
