    TEXT HOW-TO
0:48 Step 1: If you have the version of WMM seen in 0:48, then skip this step. If not, download it.
0:47 Step 2: Go to Tools -- Titles and Credits -- title after selected clip. Type "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..." Set the font to Franklin Gothic Book, and the color to custom color R75, G213, B238. Set the background color to black. Check that the text is left-aligned, reduced so there is a line break after the word "galaxy," and that the animation is set to Fade, In and Out. Click Done.
2:06 Step 3: Go to Tools -- Titles and Credits -- Title after selected clip. Type "@ (for SW logo)" or your custom text. Set font to Star Jedi Hollow for the @ symbol trick, or to SF Distant Galaxy Outline) for all other text. Set font color to 229, 177, 58 using custom colors. Center the text and make the animation Zoom Out. Shrink text to appropriate size. Click done. Right click on the clip on the timeline. Click Video Effects, then add Ease Out and Slow Down, Half once each.
3:28 Step 4: Go to Tools -- Titles and Credits -- title after selected clip. Change the title animation to Scroll, Perspective. Change the font to SW Crawl Body (available at bit.ly/SWCrawlF.... Keep the the text having the previous custom color, but left-align it. Reduce the text to the smallest size. Finally, add your text. It should be several paragraphs. NOTE: You can't put too much text, or it won't work. Click Done, add to Movie. Right click on the clip on the timeline. Click on Video Effects, then add Slow Down, Half twice to the film.
4:18 Step 5: Find a copy of the Star Wars theme. Import the song into WMM, then drag the song into the timeline. Move the song to the start of your second clip, and cut it short at the end of your third clip.
Step 6: If you want to have your crawl have a "starfield" background like in the Star Wars movies, import a starfield image into WMM using Google Images, then move all elements in the "Video" section of the timeline into the "Title Overlay." Then move the starfield image into the "Video" section, for the length of the video.
You are then done with your movie! Save the film to Large, High Quality!

    FAQ:
Q: Can I make this with Windows Live Movie Maker (that came with Windows 7)?
A: No, but you can download WMM 2.6 (used here) at bit.ly/MM2_6.
Q: I can't get the font I installed to show up!
    A: A tutorial is available at goo.gl/3FaELw.
Q: Can I use Windows 8/8.1/10 to do this?
A: As long as you have the correct WMM, you can.
Q: I can't get the text to show up on the "preview" pane! I want a starfield background! There is only a black background.
    A:
    1. Click on "Show Timeline" on the bottom of the screen if it is visible. If it says "show storyboard," you're fine.
    2. Use the mouse to highlight all of the clips on the "video" track of the timeline. They should then have a white frame around them.
    3. Click and drag the clips to the "Title Overlay" of the timeline, then release the mouse. Your "video" track should then be blank.
    4. Save and download an image, such as the one at goo.gl/yc8kbk if you have a 4:3 aspect ratio or the one at goo.gl/YlG85L if you have a 16:9 aspect ratio. You may check your aspect ratio by going to Tools - Options - Advanced near the top of the program.
    5. Go to File - Import into collections and select the image you downloaded, then click import. It should show up above your timeline.
    6. Click and drag your image to the video track.
    7. Move your mouse to the right edge of the box in the video track. Click and drag it so that the box is the length of the clips at "title overlay" track.
